Doha: The Hamad Port WatchTower is one of the world’s tallest watchtowers at 110 meters, equipped with state-of-the-art navigation technology and ship traffic services and is an architectural masterpiece.
The Qatar Ports Twitter account shared a post explaining that the tower is equipped with a range of state-of-the-art systems used to guide and control the movement of ships around the world, such as AIS and radar surveillance systems that provide comprehensive coverage inside and outside the port, enabling it to provide high quality services to port customers.
The tower is centrally located in the heart of the port with high visibility and provides safe and reliable services for the movement of all ships.
In March, Hamad Port won the “Economic Diversification Project 2020” award from The Business Year magazine in recognition of its role in promoting economic diversification in Qatar,
Hamad Port, with its huge potential, modern facilities and advanced systems, will increase Qatar’s bilateral trade with various countries of the world at rapid growth rates in the coming years, making Doha a regional trade center to revive and promote bilateral trade in the Middle East and promote the region’s trade with the world.

الدوحة: يعد برج المراقبة في ميناء حمد أحد أطول أبراج المراقبة في العالم بطول 110 أمتار، وهو مجهز بأحدث تكنولوجيا الملاحة وخدمات حركة السفن وهو تحفة معمارية.
ونشر حساب موانئ قطر على موقع تويتر منشورا أوضح فيه أن البرج قد تم تجهيزه بمجموعة من أحدث الأنظمة المستخدمة في توجيه ومراقبة حركة السفن حول العالم كنظام AIS وأنظمة المراقبة بواسطة الرادار التي توفر تغطية شاملة داخل الميناء وخارجه حيث تمكنه من تقديم خدمات عالية الجودة لعملاء الميناء.
كما يقع البرج بموقع مركزي في قلب الميناء مع وضوح عالي في الرؤية ويوفر خدمات آمنة وموثوقة لحركة جميع السفن .
وكان ميناء حمد قد حصد في مارس الماضي جائزة “مشروع التنويع الاقتصادي لعام 2020” من مجلة The Business Year اعترافا بدوره في تعزيز التنويع الاقتصادي في دولة قطر،
كما أن ميناء حمد بإمكاناته الضخمة ومرافقه الحديثة وأنظمته المتطورة، سوف يزيد من حجم التجارة البينية لقطر مع مختلف دول العالم بنسب نمو متسارعة خلال السنوات المقبلة بما يجعل من الدوحة مركزا تجاريا إقليميا لإنعاش وتعزيز التجارة البينية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وتعزيز تجارة المنطقة مع العالم.
