Doha: A number of doctors warned against using weight loss drugs, especially without consulting a specialist because their damage is greater than their benefits and cause severe high blood pressure, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke, diarrhea and loss of a large amount of fluid in the body leading to dehydration, and excessive use of weight loss medications leads to kidney and liver damage and may lead to death.
The doctors told Al-Sharq that quality and quantity of the ingredients inside the drugs sold online cannot be determined, so anyone may get poisoned by a drug to treat thinness and accelerate the growth of their body or lose weight. They warned against ordering medicines through websites and anonymous websites, which is very dangerous because it is impossible for these drugs to go through the same stages as the drugs that are found in the pharmacy, and usually the words written on the paper accompanying the drug sold online are incorrect and do not correspond to the ingredients that the drug actually contains.

الدوحة: حذر عدد من الاطباء من استعمال ادوية التخسيس خاصة دون استشارة الطبيب المختص لأن أضرارها أكبر من فوائدها وتتسبب في ارتفاع ضغط الدم بشكل حاد، ما قد يؤدي إلى الإصابة بنوبة قلبية أو سكتة دماغية، الإسهال وفقدان كم كبير من السوائل الموجودة بالجسم مما يؤدي إلى الإصابة بالجفاف، كما يؤدي الإفراط في تناول أدوية التخسيس إلى تلف الكلى والكبد وقد يؤدي إلى الوفاة.
واكدوا الأطباء لـ الشرق ان الادوية التي تباع عن طريق الانترنت لا يمكن تحديد نوعية وكمية المكونات الموجودة داخلها وبالتالي فإن اي شخص يمكن ان يدخل الى جسمه سم في شكل دواء بهدف علاج النحافة وتسريع نمو جسده او انقاص الوزن. وحذروا من طلب الادوية عن طريق المواقع الالكترونية ومواقع مجهولة المصدر فهو امر خطير جدا لأنه من المستحيل ان تمر هذه الادوية بنفس المراحل التي تمر بها الادوية التي توجد في الصيدلية وعادة ما يكون الكلام المكتوب على الورقة المرافقة للدواء الذي يباع عن طريق الانترنت غير صحيح ولا يتطابق مع المكونات التي يحتوي عليها الدواء فعليا.
