Metrash2 to add name change service soon

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has said that work is underway to include service for submitting request for change of name or other information through Metrash2. The service is ready and will be activated soon.
The Ministry also said that most used services this year through Metrash2 were residency renewal, visa extension, traffic fine payment, vehicle registration renewal, vehicle ownership transfer and add/update national address among others.
This information was shared yesterday by the General Directorate of information System of the MoI during an awareness webinar on ‘E-Services of the Ministry of Interior’.
The event was organised in collaboration with the Public Relations Department of the MoI.
Around 400 people from HR, finance, safety, security, the public and private companies, schools, and the heads and representatives of expat communities attended the event.
Addressing the event First Lieutenant Ali Al Edrous said that people can now report their complaints regarding electronic/cyber crimes through the Metrash2 app (‘communicate with us – contact us’ category), where a person can send the details of the complaint and will be contacted by the concerned authority.
According to Al Edrous in case a person forgets the ID or driver’s license and other documents, the E-Wallet is sufficient to present the said documents in case the person is dealing with any department of the MoI. “Work is underway to implement this facility for other government agencies.”
He also noted that the E-Wallet has the ‘Share’ feature which will be available for all available cards for the different applications for example WhatsApp, email, and messages.
The e-wallet consists of official documents including Qatari ID card, residence permit, driving license, vehicle registration, and ownership of the fancy/significant number.
Metrash2 application has recorded a remarkable growth in the number of transactions provided to public last year. The number of transactions reached more than 6 million in 2020 compared to 3.15 million in 2019, he said.
Regarding automatic Residency Renewal services, he said that electronic services department in MoI recently introduced new concept zero clicks services for companies “A company is required only to register in the (Automatic Residency Renewal) through Metrash2 and every month the service will renew residency for employees (according to their expiry) automatically and send IDs to company location without human interaction.
The Metrash2 app offers more than 220 active services available in 6 languages, including Arabic, English, French, Malayalam, Urdu, and Spanish. It guarantees safe and encrypted services and supports most smart devices, which contributes to reaching the largest possible segment of users.

وقالت الوزارة أيضا أن أكثر الخدمات المستخدمة هذا العام من خلال مطراش2 هي تجديد الإقامة، وتمديد التأشيرة، ودفع غرامة المرور، وتجديد تسجيل المركبات، ونقل ملكية المركبات وإضافة / تحديث العنوان الوطني من بين أخرى.
وقد شاركت الإدارة العامة لنظم المعلومات بوزارة الداخلية هذه المعلومات أمس خلال ندوة توعية على الإنترنت حول “الخدمات الإلكترونية لوزارة الداخلية”.
وقد تم تنظيم هذا الحدث بالتعاون مع إدارة العلاقات العامة في وزارة الداخلية.
وحضر هذا الحدث حوالي 400 شخص من الموارد البشرية والمالية والسلامة والأمن والشركات العامة والخاصة والمدارس ورؤساء وممثلي مجتمعات الوافدين.
وقال الملازم أول علي الدروس في كلمته أمام الحدث إن بإمكان الناس الآن الإبلاغ عن شكاواهم المتعلقة بالجرائم الإلكترونية من خلال تطبيق مطراش2 (من خلال خانة التواصل معنا – اتصل بنا)، حيث يمكن للشخص إرسال تفاصيل الشكوى وسيتم الاتصال به من قبل الجهات المعنية.
ووفقا للدروس في حالة نسيان الشخص للطاقة الشخصية أو رخصة القيادة وغيرها من الوثائق، فإن المحفظة الإلكترونية كافية لتقديم المستندات المذكورة في حالة تعامل الشخص مع أي قسم من وزارة الداخلية. وأضاف: “يجري العمل على تنفيذ هذا المرفق لصالح الوكالات الحكومية الأخرى”.
كما أشار إلى أن المحفظة الإلكترونية تحتوي على ميزة “مشاركة” والتي ستكون متاحة لجميع البطاقات المتاحة للتطبيقات المختلفة على سبيل المثال واتساب والبريد الإلكتروني والرسائل.
تتكون المحفظة الإلكترونية من وثائق رسمية تشمل بطاقة الهوية القطرية، تصريح الإقامة، رخصة القيادة، تسجيل سيارة، وملكية الرقم الفاخر/الكبير.
وقد سجل تطبيق مطراش2 نموا ملحوظا في عدد المعاملات المقدمة للجمهور في العام الماضي. وأشار إلى أن عدد المعاملات بلغ أكثر من 6 ملايين في عام 2020 مقارنة ب 3.15 مليون في عام 2019.
وفيما يتعلق بخدمات تجديد الإقامة التلقائية، قال إن قسم الخدمات الإلكترونية في وزارة الداخلية قدم مؤخرا مفهوما جديدا لخدمات النقرات الصفرية للشركات “مطلوب من الشركة فقط التسجيل في (تجديد الإقامة التلقائية) من خلال مطراش2 وكل شهر ستجدد الخدمة الإقامة للموظفين (وفقا لانتهاء صلاحيتها) تلقائيا وترسل معرفات إلى موقع الشركة دون تدخل بشري.
يقدم تطبيق مطراش2 أكثر من 220 خدمة نشطة متوفرة في 6 لغات، بما في ذلك العربية والإنجليزية والفرنسية والملايالامية والأردية والإسبانية. وهو يضمن خدمات آمنة ومشفرة ويدعم معظم الأجهزة الذكية، مما يساهم في الوصول إلى أكبر شريحة ممكنة من المستخدمين.
