The Qatari search and rescue team was the first to arrive in Lebanon to participate in the search and rescue operations of the victims of the Israeli occupation’s war on Lebanon, and the members of the team embodied the authentic Arab pride in their difficult tasks, and their prominent role in the removal of debris and the recovery of the bodies of the victims in Tyre and Bint Jbeil.

1- يتبع قوة لخويا
فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري يتابع قوة لخويا، وأحد أهم الفرق العالمية المتخصصة في الاستجابة للأزمات والكوارث التي تقع في أي مكان بالعالم، وساعدت الدولة على تطويره وتدريبه وتسليحه بأفضل الوسائل المتاحة في هذا المجال.
2- أولى مشاركاته الخارجية
كانت أولى مشاركاته الخارجية في العام 2005 للقيام بعمليات الإنقاذ والبحث والاستجابة الإنسانية للزلزال الذي ضرب باكستان .
3- مكانة دولية
منذ أول عملية إنقاذ قام بها الفريق القطري في باكستان ترك سمعة دولية طيبة، وبعدها كانت كل مشاركاته الخارجية محل إشادة وتقدير وترحيب دولي، ومشهود له من قبل وسائل الإعلام الدولية خاصة على مستوى الكفاءة والتجهيزات.

يعد فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري من أكبر الفرق على مستوى العالم من حيث الإمكانات والأفراد والتخصص، إن لم يكن أكبرها على الإطلاق، فتطور الفريق على مستوى التدريب واكبه تطور أيضا على مستوى المعدات، حيث تم تزويده بأحدث المعدات اللازمة في مجاله.
وتم اختيار مجموعة الفريق من الشباب القطري الواعي الذي لا يتردد في بذل ما في وسعه، وتقديم خدماته عند اقتضاء الحاجة ليكونوا نواة لأول فريق.
5- عدد المهمات الدولية
تجاوز فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري نحو 57 مهمة دولية تنوعت ما بين عمليات انقاذ واغاثة.
6- الاعتراف الدولي
في عام 2015 ، حصل فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري على التصنيف الدولي “الثقيل” من قبل المجموعة الدولية الاستشارية للبحث والإنقاذ «إنسراج» التابعة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة، وهو التصنيف الأعلى الذي تمنحه الهيئة.
وأصبح الفريق القطري الـ45 على مستوى العالم الذي يحصل على هذا الاعتراف الدولي ويعمل رسمياً تحت مظلة الأمم المتحدة وفق لغة موحدة ليكون شريكا للفرق الدولية الأخرى في المنطقة، ويواصل فزعته من أجل الإنسانية.

– زلزال أندونيسيا
في عام 2006 شارك الفريق بكامل معداته في عمليات البحث والإنقاذ لمتضرري زلزال إندونيسيا الذي دمر جميع المنشآت وتسبب في كثير من الضحايا، ونجح الفريق في تقديم المساعدات للمتضررين.
– لبنان إثر العدوان الإسرائيلي
كان فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري أول من وصل إلى أرض لبنان للمشاركة في عمليات البحث والإنقاذ لمنكوبي الحرب التي شنها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على لبنان ، وجسد أعضاء الفريق النخوة العربية الأصيلة بما قاموا به من مهمات صعبة، وبما أدوه من دور بارز في عمليات إزالة الأنقاض وانتشال جثث الضحايا في كل من صور وبنت جبيل.
– زلزال هايتي
أنشأ الفريق القطري مستشفى ميدانيا لاستقبال الحالات الطارئة والعاجلة، إلى جانب القيام بعمليات البحث لانتشال الجثث وعمليات الإنقاذ للمصابين المتواجدين تحت الأنقاض.
– السيول والفيضانات بالسودان
في عام 2012 أنشأ فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري جسرا جويا كانت قد قررته دولة قطر لنقل المساعدات لإغاثة متضرري السيول والفيضانات التي اجتاحت مساحات واسعة من مدن وقرى السودان، وأدت إلى مقتل العشرات، وتدمير آلاف المنازل وتشريد ساكنيها.
– انفجار مرفأ بيروت
كان فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري قد انتشل أول جثة لعسكري لبناني من تحت أنقاض مرفأ بيروت الذي شهد انفجاراً ضخماً أوقع عشرات القتلى والجرحى.
وعمل نحو 44 منقذا من فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري للمجموعة على مدار الساعة مستخدمين معدات هي الأحدث من نوعها في العالم ترصد دقات القلب والأنفاس تحت الأنقاض الأمر الذي سهل مهمة المجموعة القطرية.
