Doctors and plastic consultants: excessive cosmetic surgery backfires

Doha: A number of plastic surgery doctors and consultants confirmed that Qatar has made a big leap in the field of plastic surgery, pointing out that there is a high demand by different age groups to perform simple cosmetic surgeries and correct some defects and told “Al-Sharq” that beauty clinics are experiencing a qualitative boom and some stability in prices due to the introduction of modern technologies that did not exist in the past.

Doctors warned against excessive plastic surgery and stressed that it could be counterproductive. They pointed out that plastic surgery in Qatar has witnessed a qualitative breakthrough and a radical transformation by keeping pace with the latest developments in the field, they said that doctors practicing the profession receive training courses and programs inside and outside the country in order to exchange experiences and transfer knowledge and learn about the latest methods in the field of cosmetic surgery, in addition to the fact that there are European and American companies that come to the country to participate in training courses for doctors, which reflects positively on cosmetic surgery in the country, and pointed out that these programs and courses are conducted free of charge to support and better empower the future of cosmetic surgery in Qatar.

الدوحة: أكد عدد من أطباء واستشاريي جراحة التجميل أن قطر حققت قفزة كبيرة في مجال جراحة التجميل، لافتين إلى أن هناك إقبالا كبيرا من قبل مختلف الفئات العمرية على إجراء الجراحات التجميلية البسيطة وتصحيح بعض العيوب وقالوا لــ “الشرق” إن عيادات التجميل تشهد طفرة نوعية واستقرارا نوعا ما في الأسعار بسبب إدخال التقنيات الحديثة التي لم تكن موجودة في السابق..

وحذر الأطباء من الإفراط في جراحات التجميل وأكدوا أنه ربما تؤدي إلى نتائج عكسية.. ولفتوا إلى أن طب وجراحة التجميل في دولة قطر قد شهد طفرة نوعية وتحولا جذريا من خلال مواكبتها لأحدث التطورات في المجال، قالوا إن الأطباء الممارسين للمهنة يحصلون على دورات وبرامج تدريبية داخل وخارج الدولة من أجل تبادل الخبرات ونقل المعارف والتعرف على أحدث الطرق في مجال التجميل، بالإضافة إلى أن هناك شركات أوروبية وأمريكية تأتي إلى الدولة لتشارك في الدورات التدريبية للأطباء الأمر الذي ينعكس إيجابا على جراحات التجميل في الدولة، وأشاروا إلى أن هذه البرامج والدورات تتم بشكل مجاني لدعم مستقبل جراحات التجميل في قطر وتمكينها بشكل أفضل.
