Doha: A number of hotel managers confirmed the high occupancy rate during the current summer period, revealing that the rental rate in hotels has reached up to 80% since last June, with a temporary increase during Eid al-Adha holiday, in which hotels were among the most important destinations for those wishing to relax, referring to the recovery of the sector market for many reasons, the first of which is the preference of many to spend their annual holidays here in Doha instead of traveling abroad, in order to protect themselves from being infected with Covid-19, which, although recently declining, continues to pose a health threat at the international level and not just locally, adding to the distinctive offers put forward by hotels during this phase. This has prompted many to consider staying here in Doha, rather than going abroad as recuperation costs in Qatar decline.
While others felt that Qatar Clean Program also played a major role in boosting visitor confidence in local hotels, which adhere to all preventive measures announced by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management,
While trying to strengthen them with some other measures, which would increase safety in Doha hotels, stressing that all these data have played a key role in clearly strengthening the sector in recent months,
with the advancement of domestic tourism, which has become the first source of occupancy for our hotels, which has been enhanced in the past days by more foreign travelers after the re-launch of entry visas.

الدوحة: أكد عدد من مديري الفنادق ارتفاع نسبة الإشغال خلال فترة الصيف الحالية، كاشفين عن أن نسبة التأجير في الفنادق بلغت ما يصل إلى 80 % منذ شهر يونيو الماضي، مع تسجيل زيادة مؤقتة خلال إجازة عيد الأضحى التي كانت فيها الفنادق من بين أهم الوجهات بالنسبة للراغبين في الاستجمام، مرجعين انتعاش سوق القطاع إلى العديد من الأسباب، أولها تفضيل الكثير قضاء عطلهم السنوية هنا في الدوحة بدل السفر إلى الخارج، وذلك احترازاً من الإصابة بفيروس كورونا المستجد، والذي بالرغم من تراجعه في الفترة الأخيرة إلا أنه ما زال لحد الساعة يمثل خطرا على الصحة على المستوى الدولي وليس المحلي فقط، مضيفين إلى ذلك العروض المميزة التي طرحتها الفنادق خلال هذه المرحلة، ما دفع بالكثير إلى التفكير في البقاء هنا في الدوحة، عوض التوجه إلى الخارج مع تراجع تكاليف الاستجمام داخل قطر.
في حين رأى البعض الآخر منهم أن برنامج قطر نظيفة هو الآخر لعب دوراً كبيراً في تعزيز ثقة الزوار في الفنادق المحلية، التي تلتزم بكل التدابير الوقائية التي أعلنت عنها اللجنة العليا لإدارة الأزمات، مع محاولة تعزيزها بالبعض من الإجراءات الأخرى، التي من شأنها درجات الأمان في فنادق الدوحة، مشددين على أن كل هذه المعطيات المذكورة لعبت دوراً رئيسياً في تعزيز القطاع بصورة واضحة في الأشهر الأخيرة، مع النهوض بالسياحة الداخلية التي باتت تعد مصدر الإشغال الأول بالنسبة لفنادقنا، التي تعززت في الأيام المنصرمة بالمزيد من المسافرين الأجانب بعد إعادة إطلاق تأشيرات الدخول.
