ولفت الى اهمية المترو في مساعدة الفرد على تعلم الاقتصاد، حيث يسهم المترو في تخفيف العبء من خلال توفير كميات كبيرة من الوقود يمكن ان يبددها المرء في الطريق نتيجة الازدحام الشديد.

وقال ان التنقل بالمترو الى جانب اسعاره شبه المجانية له فوائد عديدة من بينها انه وسيلة مريحة وسريعة وتصل بك الى مواقع استراتيجية عديدة كالفنادق واماكن المتنزهات وسوق واقف الذي يعد قبلة الزوار. وقال انه حرص على التنقل بمترو الدوحة خلال ايام عيد الاضحى المبارك، خاصة ان مترو الدوحة قد اثبت انه وسيلة نقل متكاملة من كافة النواحي الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية فهو وسيلة رخيصة الثمن وتكاد تكون مجانية من ناحية الاسعار، وهو وسيلة مريحة تتميز بالفخامة والرفاهية الى جانب انها وسيلة سريعة وامنة، ولا ننسى انها تمثل داعما رئيسيا لقطاع النقل في قطر ولها اسهام كبير في دعم الاقتصاد. وقد شهد المترو اقبالا كبيرا لا يقل عن 80 الى 90 ألف راكب. ودعا الى النظر في تشغيل مترو الدوحة يومي الجمعة والسبت وزيادة ساعات العمل، حيث الاقبال الكبير عليه.

واشار للنقلة النوعية التي احدثها مترو الدوحة منذ بدء تشغيله قبل اقل من عام، حيث بينت الاحصاءات والدراسات الاثر الكبير الذي احدثه مترو الدوحة في قطاع النقل بقطر والفوائد الاقتصادية والاجتماعية او الثقافية التي حققها على مستوى الافراد والجماعات. ولفت الى القفزة الكبرى التي تنتظر قطاع النقل مع اكتمال تشغيل بقية الخطوط لتكون قطر بذلك قد تم ربطها بشكل كامل بخطوط النقل المختلفة للمترو.

وحث المواطنين والمقيمين وحتى الزوار على الاتجاه نحو استخدام المترو. وقال ان مترو الدوحة يعد وسيلة نقل مريحة ومبهجة يمكن للمتنقل بها ان يشعر بالمتعة والرفاهية، حيث يتميز مترو الدوحة بتصميمات جميلة أخذت من التراث والثقافة القطرية العريقة، اضافة الى انه وسيلة مريحة ورخيصة. وقال ان استخدام المترو خلال ايام عيد الاضحى المبارك يمثل متعة اضافية، خاصة وان ايام العيد ايام فرحة وتشهد حركة كبيرة بين مختلف اماكن اللهو واللعب من متنزهات واماكن سياحية. وقال ان اكتشاف المستخدمين لمميزات المترو ضاعف اعدادهم خلال عيد الاضحى. وتمنى ان يتم تشغيل المترو خلال عطلتي الجمعة والسبت.

وقال ناراين سيرستا ان مترو الدوحة يعد اضافة حقيقية لقطاع النقل البري في قطر. ويمثل داعما مهما لحركة المرور، حيث اسهم بصورة ظاهرة في تخفيف الازدحام، خاصة تلك الفئة الكبيرة من الناس التي رغبت في تقليل الحركة بالسيارات. وقال انه تخلص من السيارة خلال ايام عيد الاضحى المبارك ليستمتع بالحركة بلا قيود او توترات مثل تلك التي يحدثها ازدحام السيارات في الطرق المختلفة، والتي يمكن أن تحدث في ايام مثل ايام العيد والعطلات المماثلة.
