Saad al-Ghanim: Most debtors cases are caused by foreign partner

Doha: Mr. Saad al-Ghanim, volunteer and initiator of Al-Gharemin campaign, revealed that most of the cases paid for by Al-Gharemin campaign were due to the foreign partner, because debtors gave this partner many powers without pursuing him and that caused too many problems.

On his humanitarian initiative, Al Ghanim said that he started work on it 10 months ago, after he entered the website of Qatar Charity, where he found two cases of Gharemin (debtors) with 8 million riyals owed in debt, adding: ” at that point, I thought about promoting these cases and marketing them, especially since I have many groups on WhatsApp and many followers on my Twitter account.”

Al Ghanim went on to say to al-Ghabga program on Qatar TV: The surprise was that five days after the launch of the initiative, the 8 million riyals were paid and this great response to the initiative gave me a very very strong motivation to continue it, adding that after 5 months of launch 155 cases were marketed and payments were paid for 80 cases worth 65 million riyals. This was the motive for continuing to do good, pointing out that the Qatari community is generous by all standards and its members always seek to help, and they are the basis for the success of Al Gharemin campaign, pointing out that the people of Qatar were keen to communicate with him immediately and continuously, which led him to create a WhatsApp group for Al-Gharemin, and the campaign witnessed continuous communication on Twitter and Snapchat.

Al Ghanim explained that Qatar Charity has announced all its internal and external projects, and it is our role to promote local projects and highlight them and market them among us in our society because many people have no idea that there are such cases or that there are citizens and residents in need.

الدوحة: كشف السيد سعد الغانم، متطوع وصاحب مبادرة مساعدة الغارمين، أن معظم الحالات التي سددتها حملة الغارمين كانت بسبب الشريك الأجنبي، وذلك لأن الغارمين منحوا هذا الشريك صلاحيات كثيرة دون متابعته وترتب على ذلك مشكلات كثيرة جدا.

وحول مبادرته الانسانية قال الغانم إنه قد بدأ العمل عليها قبل 10 شهور، وذلك بعد أن دخل على الموقع الإلكتروني لـ قطر الخيرية، حيث وجد هناك حالتين للغارمين عليهما مطلوبات 8 ملايين ريال، مضيفا: “حينها فكرت في الترويج لهذه الحالات والتسويق لها، خصوصا وأن لدي مجموعات كثيرة على تطبيق الواتساب ومتابعين كثيرين على حسابي في تويتر.”

ومضى الغانم إلى القول في حديثه لبرنامج الغبقة على شاشة تلفزيون قطر: كانت المفاجأة أنه وبعد 5 أيام من اطلاق المبادرة تم تسديد مبلغ الـ 8 ملايين ريال وهذا التجاوب الكبير مع المبادرة اعطاني دافعا قويا جدا جدا للاستمرار فيها، مضيفا أنه وبعد 5 شهور من الانطلاق تم تسويق 155 حالة وتم تسديد مبالغ مالية لـ 80 حالة بقيمة 65 مليون ريال. وهذا كان الدافع لمواصلة عمل الخير، لافتا الى أن المجتمع القطري معطاء بكل المقاييس وأفراده يسعون دائما إلى المساعدة، وهم الأساس في نجاح حملة الغارمين، مشيرا إلى أن أهل قطر كانوا حريصين على التواصل معه بشكل فوري ومستمر، الأمر الذي دفعه لإنشاء مجموعة خاصة بالغارمين على الواتساب، كما أن الحملة شهدت تواصلا مستمرا من قبلهم في تويتر وسناب شات.

وأوضح الغانم أن قطر الخيرية أعلنت عن جميع مشاريعها الداخلية والخارجية، ودورنا نحن أن نقوم بالترويج للمشاريع الداخلية ونسلط الضوء عليها ونسوقها بيننا في مجتمعنا لأن الكثير من الناس ليس لديهم فكرة عن وجود مثل هذه الحالات أو أن هناك محتاجين من المواطنين والمقيمين.
