MoCI: Serving of food inside restaurants, cafes banned

Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) issued yesterday a circular preventiazng restaurants and cafes in the country from serving food, banning customers from sitting inside or holding any gatherings starting Monday until further notice.

The decision was made as part of the precautionary measures against the spread of the coronavirus. The circular made an exception to home delivery and take out orders. The ministry called on everybody to follow the instructions in the circular, noting that those who violate it will be held legally accountable.

أصدرت وزارة التجارة والصناعة تعميماً بمنع جميع المطاعم والمقاهي في الدولة من تقديم الطلبات إلى جانب منع تواجد وجلوس الزبائن وإقامة تجمعات داخل وخارج الصالات المشار إليها اعتبارا من يوم غد، الإثنين، وحتى إشعار آخر، وذلك في إطار الإجراءات الوقائية للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/.

واستثنى التعميم الذي أصدرته الوزارة اليوم، خدمة توصيل الطلبات الخارجية وتسليم الطلبات داخل المحل.

ودعت وزارة التجارة والصناعة الجميع إلى الالتزام التام بما جاء في التعميم.. منبهة إلى أن من يخالف هذا المنع سيتعرض للمساءلة القانونية.
