Two-Month Traffic Diversion on Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street
تحويلة مرورية بشارع الريان الجديد لمدة شهرين
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced that it will close the existing U-turn and install a new temporary traffic signal at the junction of Al Busayer Street and Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street.
The closure, which will allow Ashghal to conduct construction that would increase the lane capacity from 2 to 4 lanes in each direction along Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street, has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. It will be implemented on Friday 12 October 2018 and be in place for a period of two months
As shown on the attached map, road users travelling eastbound on Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street will be required to use the new temporary signal to turn left on to Al Busayer Street and head towards Al Rayyan Municipality and Al Shaqab area, or make a U-turn to travel towards Bani Hajer. They can also access Al Nayef Petrol Station from Al Busayer Street.
The Public Works Authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, which has been reduced from 80 kph to 50 kph along the diversion routes, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ تحويلة مرورية بشارع الريان الجديد حيث سيتم إغلاق مسار الدوران الى الخلف واستبداله بإشارة ضوئية جديدة مؤقتة وذلك اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 12 أكتوبر 2018 ويستمر لمدة شهرين.
تهدف التحويلة المرورية، التي تأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، إلى إتاحة المجال أمام استكمال الأعمال الإنشائية للطريق الدائم على طول شارع الريان الجديد.
وخلال فترة التحويلة المرورية، سيقوم رواد الطريق المتجهون شرقاً على شارع الريان الجديد بإستخدام الإشارة الضوئية المؤقتة الجديدة للدخول إلى شارع البصير والتوجه نحو بلدية الريان ومنطقة الشقب أو القيام بالدوران الى الخلف للتوجه نحو بني هاجر، كما يمكنهم الوصول إلى محطة وقود النايف من شارع البصير، وذلك وفقاً للخريطة المرفقة.
وستقوم “أشغال” بتثبيت اللوحات الإرشادية اللازمة لتنبيه السائقين، مشددة على ضرورة التزام مستخدمي الطريق بالسرعة المحددة التي تم تخفيضها من 80 الى 50 كيلومتر في الساعة بالإضافة إلى إتباع اللوحات الإرشادية وذلك لضمان سلامتهم.
