Woqod opens petrol station in Rawdat Al Hamama-2

Qatar Fuel ‘Woqod’ yesterday opened Rawdat Al Hamama-2 raising its total count of petrol stations to 79.

Woqod CEO Eng Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi said “We are pleased to open new fixed petrol station Rawdat Al Hamama-2. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed/are contributing to the completion of this project”.

Rawdat Al Hamama-2 petrol station is spread over an area of 10,000 square metres and has three lanes with six dispensers that will serve Rawdat Al Hamama and its neighbourhood.

The new petrol station offers round-the-clock services to residents, and include Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tire repair, sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 17 new petrol stations, some of these stations are expected to be operational during the current year.

افتتحت «قطر للوقود» (وقود)، أمس، محطة جديدة في منطقة روضة الحمامة، ليصل عدد محطاتها الإجمالي إلى 79 محطة ثابتة ومتنقلة.

وبهذه المناسبة، صرّح المهندس سعد راشد المهندي -الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة- قائلاً: «إن افتتاح هذه المحطة الجديدة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط (وقود) الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد على المنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلي، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة».

وتبلغ مساحة المحطة الجديدة 10.000 متر مربع، وتحتوي على 3 خطوط تتضمن 6 مضخات لتعبئة الوقود لخدمة مرتادي منطقة روضة الحمامة والمناطق المجاورة لها.;
