Katara suspends all events and exhibitions

Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has announced the suspension of all events, festivals, and exhibitions.
In a statement on Twitter, the General Manager of Katara, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti said: “We apologize to our valued Katara visitors for canceling all events, festivals, and exhibitions to mourn the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates.”
In an announcement by the Amiri Diwan, the Amir had declared three days of mourning in the state and the flags to be lowered to half-staff.

وقال المدير العام لكتارا الأستاذ الدكتور خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي في بيان على تويتر: “نعتذر لزوار كتارا الكرام لإلغاء جميع الفعاليات والمهرجانات والمعارض حداداً على صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان”. رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة”
وفي إعلان للديوان الأميري، أعلن الأمير الحداد ثلاثة أيام في الولاية وتنكيس الأعلام.
