Traffic Department: Avoid leaving sanitizer inside vehicles to avoid fires
المرور: تجنب ترك معقم اليدين داخل المركبات لتفادي الحرائق
Lt. Abdul Mohsen al-Ruwaili, Public Information Bureau officer of the Traffic Awareness Department of the General Administration of Traffic, called in a statement to Al-Sharq newspaper to avoid leaving the sanitizer inside the car, for the possibility of causing fires that could lead to impairment and damage to others, God forbid, saying: “We must be careful and do not endanger our lives and the lives of others and property.”
Lieutenant al-Ruwaili said that the various measures announced by the General Administration of Traffic are in line with the precautionary measures and statements issued by the relevant authorities such as the Ministry of Public Health and the Government Liaison Office in order to combat the outbreak of the coronavirus ” Coved-19″ to maintain the health of all.
As temperatures rise, the car becomes more exposed to sunlight, which can interact with the composition of sterilizers containing flammable materials that can cause fire inside the vehicle God forbid, he said.
Lieutenant al-Ruwaili reminded people of the conditions for preventing the spread of the Coronavirus within cars by describing the vehicle’s cabin as a very suitable environment for the life of the virus, which lives on the metal, leather and glass surfaces of the vehicle. He pointed out the need to wear gloves when cleaning the car and disposing them after completion and using disinfectants to sterilize the surface and front of the car in addition to cleaning and wiping the handles of the transmission and steering wheel well.
He also stressed the need to keep a trash can in the car, wipe the leather seats well using disinfectants and sterilize the internal and external door handles.
دعا الملازم عبد المحسن الرويلي، ضابط المكتب الإعلامي بإدارة التوعية المرورية بالإدارة العامة للمرور، في تصريح للشرق إلى تجنب ترك معقم اليدين داخل السيارة، لاحتمال تسببه في حرائق قد تؤدي إلى اتلافها و أضرارا للغير لا قدر الله، قائلا: يجب أن نكون حذرين ولا نعرض حياتنا و حياة الآخرين و الممتلكات للخطر”.
وقال الملازم الرويلي ان مختلف الاجراءات التي تُعلن عنها الادارة العامة للمرور تتماهى مع الاجراءات الاحترازية والبيانات الصادرة عن الجهات المعنية على غرار وزارة الصحة العامة و مكتب الاتصال الحكومي من اجل مكافحة تفشي فيروس كورونا ” كوفيد -19″، للمحافظة على صحة الجميع.
وأوضح انه مع ارتفاع درجات الحرارة تصبح السيارة معرضة اكثر لأشعة الشمس التي يمكن ان تتفاعل مع تركيبة المعقمات المحتوية على مواد قابلة للاشتعال وتتسبق في حريق لا قدر الله داخل السيارة.
وذكّر الملازم الرويلي بشروط الوقاية من انتشار فيروس كورونا داخل السيارات بوصف مقصورة المركبة تعد بيئة مناسبة جدا لحياة الفيروس الذي يعيش على الأسطح المعدنية و الجلدية و الزجاجية داخل السيارة. ولفت إلى ضرورة ارتداء قفازات عند تنظيف السيارة و التخلص منها بعد الانتهاء واستخدام المطهرات في تعقيم اسطح وواجهة السيارة بالإضافة إلى تنظيف ومسح مقابض ناقل السرعة وعجلة القيادة جيّدا. كما شدد على ضرورة الاحجتفاظ بسلة المهملات داحل السيارة ومسح المقاعد الجلدية جيّدا باستخدام المطهرات وتعقيم مقابض الابواب الداخلية و الخارجية.
