Ooredoo launches “Stay Home With Ooredoo” campaign to support customers

Doha: Ooredoo has announced its #StayHomeWithOoredoo campaign, featuring a number of offers designed to support customers during the ongoing global COVID-19 outbreak.
Anticipating a greater need for data and for fast, reliable internet for the many Doha citizens and residents now working from home, home schooling and reducing social contact under guidelines issued by the Qatar government, Ooredoo is offering its customers extra data, faster internet speeds and free Mobile Money remittances.
To ensure customers can rely on staying connected during this challenging period, Ooredoo is offering extra data free to its pre- and postpaid customers, while those with Ooredoo home internet can expect faster speeds at no extra cost. Mobile Money customers will also be able to send remittances home for free.
New and existing Qatarna 5G, Shahry 5G and Data SIM 5G customers will get double their data, with the free data being given automatically, while prepaid customers recharging with Hala Data and Flexi will get double their data when using the Ooredoo App to recharge.
Customers with Ooredoo ONE connections will get double their internet speed at no extra cost, as well as free access to the Kids/Family package on Ooredoo tv.
All free data, faster internet and free entertainment offers are valid from March 15 until April 15, 2020.
Also, customers using Mobile Money to send remittances home will get their transactions for free – with fees being given as cashback – for all remittances sent from March 15 until March 31, 2020.
As an initiative to support the Qatar government in its drive to encourage citizens and residents to stay home, Ooredoo has asked all staff to work remotely during this time. However, all services are being provided as normal for all customers digitally; at its website, via the Ooredoo App and through its network of Self Service Machines. Sabah Rabia Al-Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo, said of the campaign: “This is an uncertain time for our customers, and we want to do whatever we can to support them while they comply with official guidelines. We expect to see a much higher demand for data, as well as more customers using their home internet, and we’re pleased to be able to offer them extra free data and faster internet speeds to ensure they can get on with their everyday lives as much as possible. Many customers will also be keen to send money home to their families and being able to do so for free will be a help.”

أعلنت Ooredoo عن إطلاق حملة جديدة تحت عنوان “خلك فالبيت مع Ooredoo” تمنح من خلالها العملاء مجموعة من العروض المميزة، بهدف تشجيع العملاء على البقاء في المنزل خلال هذه الفترة الاستثنائية تماشياً مع توجيهات الجهات الحكومية في دولة قطر.
ومع هذه العروض المجانية، ستمنح Ooredoo عملاء خدماتها مسبقة وآجلة الدفع بيانات إضافية مجاناً، فيما سيحصل عملاء خدمات الإنترنت المنزلي على سرعات إنترنت أعلى دون تكلفة إضافية، أما عملاء خدمات Ooredoo المالية، فسيمكنهم الاستمتاع برسوم تحويل مجانية عند إرسال الحوالات المالية دولياً.
إذ ستمنح الشركة ضعف كمية البيانات مجاناً لجميع عملاء باقات الشهري وقطرنا 5G الحاليين والجدد، وستتم إضافة البيانات المجانية تلقائياً في حساباتهم. بينما سيحصل عملاء هلا على ضعف كمية البيانات الإضافية مع تعبئة الرصيد باستخدام بطاقات البيانات وبطاقات فلكسي عبر تطبيق Ooredoo، وذلك بالإضافة إلى الرصيد الاعتيادي.
أما عملاء Ooredoo ONE، فسيحصلون على زيادة في سرعة باقات الإنترنت المنزلي إلى الضعف لمدة شهر كامل مجاناً، بالإضافة للاستمتاع بمشاهدة باقات الأطفال وباقات المحتوى الترفيهي العائلي عبر Ooredoo ONE لمدة شهر مجاناً.
وتسري عروض البيانات المجانية وزيادة سرعة الإنترنت والمحتوى الترفيهي المجاني خلال الفترة من 15 مارس ولغاية 15 أبريل 2020.
كما أتاحت الشركة لعملاء خدماتها المالية إمكانية الاستفادة من رسوم تحويل مجانية عند إرسال الحوالات المالية دولياً، وذلك خلال الفترة من 15 حتى 31 مارس 2020.
وتماشياً مع التوجيهات الحكومية الصادرة مؤخراً والتي تدعو أفراد المجتمع إلى ضرورة البقاء في المنزل وعدم الخروج إلا للضرورة، أعلنت Ooredoo عن بدء العمل عن بعد لجميع موظفيها باستثناء الذين تقتضي طبيعة عملهم الوجود في مقرات الشركة، وذلك ابتداء من يوم الأحد 15 مارس 2020 وحتى إشعار آخر، انطلاقاً من حرص الشركة على صحة وسلامة موظفيها وعلى خدمة العملاء في جميع الظروف والمحافظة على سير العمل والحفاظ على أعلى درجات الجاهزية.
