Nakilat posts record net profit of over QR1bn
صافي أرباح “ناقلات” يتخطى مليار ريال
DOHA: Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (NAKILAT) , its subsidiaries and associates (Group) reported a consolidated net profit of over QR1bn (QR1,003m) in 2019, an increase of 12.4 percent, as compared to QR892m posted for the same period in 2018. The 2019 net profit is Nakilat’s highest profit recorded since its inception. The Board recommended a cash dividend at QR0.10 per share.
The company’s robust financial performance is primarily attributed to operational excellence in the management of its Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) vessels, as well as realising additional revenues from the two additional LNG carriers, one Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) acquired in 2018 and the strategic acquisition of the remaining 49.9 percent of four Q-Flexs on October 2019. Nakilat’s emphasis on cost optimisation efforts and increasing efficiencies through various rationalization activities as well as process enhancements, ensure that the company remains competitive within the global energy transportation market while sustaining healthy cashflow and generating steady returns for our shareholders.
The Group’s revenue increased by 6.8 percent to QR3.88bn and the general and administrative expenses decreased by 3.2 percent. The total assets including its share in all its joint venture assets stood at more than QR55.5bn, including QR10.6bn world-class Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard fully operated and managed by Nakilat joint venture companies
The Board of Directors of Nakilat applauded the Group for sustaining its robust financial performance and operational excellence throughout the financial period. This excellent result was due to the company’s commitment to its operational growth strategy, enabling investments in substantial business opportunities over the past two years. The Board acknowledges Nakilat’s efforts in acquiring promising business opportunities in the future.

أعلنت اليوم شركة قطر لنقل الغاز المحدودة “ناقلات” (وهي شركة مدرجة في بورصة قطر) أن صافي ربحها للعام المالي المنتهي في 31 ديسمبر الماضي تجاوز المليار ريال وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ تأسيس الشركة، لترتفع بنحو 12.4% وذلك مقابل 892 مليون ريال لنفس الفترة من عام 2018.
وذكرت الشركة أن مجلس إدارتها أوصى الجمعية العمومية للشركة والتي مقرر انعقادها في 10 مارس المقبل، بالموافقة على توزيع أرباح نقدية على المساهمين لتصل إلى 0.10 ريال لكل سهم.
وأرجعت الشركة الأداء المالي القوي والذي وصفته بالأعلى منذ تأسيسها إلى الاستحواذ الاستراتيجي على نسبة 49.9% المتبقية من حصة الشركة في أربع سفن من طراز /كيو فليكس/ في أكتوبر 2019، بالإضافة إلى التميز التشغيلي في إدارة سفن الغاز الطبيعي المسال وغاز البترول المسال التابعة لها، مشيرة إلى انها حققت إيرادات إضافية من خلال الاستحواذ على سفينتين جديدتين لنقل الغاز الطبيعي المسال ووحدة عائمة لتخزين وإعادة الغاز المسال لحالته الطبيعية في عام 2018.
وافادت أن تركيزها على جهود خفض النفقات وزيادة الكفاءة من خلال أنشطة الترشيد المختلفة ومبادرات زيادة كفاءة العمليات يأتي لضمان أن تظل الشركة قادرة على المنافسة في سوق نقل الطاقة العالمي مع الحفاظ على تدفق نقدي إيجابي وتحقيق عوائد ثابتة لمساهميها، مضيفة أن إيراداتها خلال عام 2019 بلغت 3.88 مليار ريال بزيادة قدرها 6.8% فيما تمكنت من خفض المصروفات الإدارية بنسبة 3.2%.
وفي هذا الاطار صرح الدكتور محمد بن صالح السادة، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة ناقلات، قائلًا: “لقد كان عام 2019 شاهداً على تحقيق العديد من الإنجازات الاستثنائية، ولذلك يود مجلس الإدارة أن يشيد بدور الشركة للوصول الى هذه الأرباح التي تخطت كافة التوقعات نحو تحقيق رؤيتها”، مؤكدا ان شركة ناقلات نجحت خلال عمر الشركة البالغ 15 عاماً ان تصبح شركة عالمية رائدة ومتميزة في عالم النقل والصناعة البحرية. وأفاد ان تلك النتائج المالية الايجابية التي حققتها ناقلات تأتي انطلاقاً من الفرص الذي حظيت بها من ظروف السوق المواتية وتنفيذاً لاستراتيجيات الشركة في تنويع الأعمال وتعظيم الموارد، مضيفا أن مجلس الإدارة قد التزم التزاماً صادقًا بمهمته المتمثلة في تحقيق أفضل قيمة لمساهمي الشركة مع الارتقاء بالعمل إلى آفاق جديدة.
ومن جانبه صرح المهندس عبدالله بن فضاله السليطي الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة ناقلات إن نتيجة جهود الشركة تتضح اليوم من خلال الأداء المالي المتميز في عام 2019، قائلا إن أرباح الشركة هي الأعلى منذ تأسيسها وميزانية الشركة تزداد قوة بمرور الوقت وذلك من خلال إضافة أصول عالية الجودة وسداد للديون بشكل منتظم.
وأشار إلى أن استراتيجية الشركة التوسعية المتمثلة في البحث عن الفرص الاستثمارية الواعدة لعبت دورا في ترسيخ دور الشركة الريادي في قطاع نقل الغاز الطبيعي المسال، مؤكدا أن ناقلات سعت إلى تحقيق التفوق التشغيلي وتعزيز قدرتها التنافسية التي تمتاز بها عالمياً من خلال تطوير قدراتها الداخلية في مجال الإدارة الفنية للسفن.
وناقلات هي شركة قطرية لنقل الغاز الطبيعي المسال وتشكل حلقة نقل مهمة ورئيسية في سلسلة الإمداد والتوريد الخاصة بالغاز الطبيعي المسال بدولة قطر ويعتبر أسطولها الذي يتألف من 69 سفينة أكبر أسطول لنقل الغاز الطبيعي المسال على مستوى العالم، كما تدير الشركة وتشغل 4 سفن لنقل غاز البترول المسال بالإضافة لامتلاكها وإدارتها لوحدة عائمة لتخزين وإعادة الغاز المسال لحالته الطبيعية. وتضطلع الشركة بالإشراف على أنشطة حوض /أرحمة بن جابر الجلاهمة/ لبناء وإصلاح السفن في مدينة راس لفان الصناعية من خلال مشاريعها المشتركة الاستراتيجية وهي شركة “ناقلات كيبيل للأعمال البحرية المحدودة” وشركة “ناقلات دامن شيبياردز قطر” و الشركة القطرية لتصنيع الهياكل.
