HIA voted Best Airport in Middle East

«حمد الدولي» يفوز بجائزة «أفضل مطار في الشرق الأوسط»

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has been voted as the “Best Airport in the Middle East” for the third consecutive year at the 16th Annual Global Traveler’s GT Tested Reader Survey Awards in Los Angeles. The award recognises airports across the world for outstanding performance in providing an exceptional experience to travellers. 

The Global Traveler’s awards are highly sought after and respected as an unbiased reflection of the best in travel through an open-ended reader survey. 

Commenting on the award, Engr. HIA fosters a culture of hospitality across all operations, bringing a new dimension to travel through world-class shopping, dining and leisure experiences across 40,000 square meters. وتُكرِّم الجائزة مطارات العالم التي تحقق مستويات عالية من الكفاءة والأداء وتقدّم خدمة استثنائية للمسافرين، وتحظى جوائز «جلوبال ترافلر» بمكانة مرموقة باعتبارها تمثّل انعكاساً نزيهاً لصناعة السفر والسياحة عبر استطلاعات الرأي المفتوحة التي تجريها بين قرائها.

تميّز

توسّع 

وكشف مطار حمد الدولي، مؤخراً، عن خططه لتوسعة مبناه عبر إنشاء حديقة استوائية داخلية مساحتها 10 آلاف متر مربع، بالإضافة إلى مسطّح مائي مساحته 268 متراً مربعاً، و11.720 متر مربع تشمل منافذ للبيع والطعام، وغير ذلك من مرافق للجذب والترفيه تحت سقف واحد. وقد رُوعي في تصميم هذه التوسعة أن تتكامل بشكل تام مع المبنى الحالي، وتسمح بالتدفق السلس للمسافرين، بما يعزّز التجربة الكلية للسفر عبر تقليل المسافات المقطوعة داخل المطار، وضمان سهولة الوصول والتجوال داخل المطار، ويقدّم تجربة فريدة للمسافرين مع الحديقة الاستوائية التي ستوفر إطلالة رائعة للمسافرين أثناء تناولهم الطعام وتسوّقهم.
