Qatar residents invited to register for flag relay as part of National Day celebrations

Doha: Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) is organizing the third edition of the Flag Tour on Friday, December 13, as part of the country’s celebrations of the National Day, which falls on December 18 each year.

A large number of current athletes, retirees, school students and individuals from various segments of society and public figures will take part in the Qatari flag tour which will be launched this year from the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Committee, through Doha Corniche and then Qatar Foundation and Katara Cultural District, to conclude the tour at Hamad International Airport.

Qatar Olympic Committee aims to attract 5,000 people from different segments of society to participate in this year’s tour, and registration is now open for the same.

All residents have been invited to participate for the Al Adaam Relay and registration can be done to join the relay at Katara or Corniche or QF Education City.

The second edition of the flag tour, which took place last year, witnessed the participation of more than 1500 people, including athletes and retired athletes and nearly 800 school students, where the flag tour toured more than 300 kilometres across Qatar.

يشارك عدد كبير من الرياضيين الحاليين والمتقاعدين وطلاب المدارس والأفراد من مختلف شرائح المجتمع والشخصيات العامة في جولة العلم القطري التي ستنطلق هذا العام من مقر اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية ومروراً بكورنيش الدوحة ثم قطر مؤسسة ومنطقة كتارا الثقافية ، تختتم الجولة في مطار حمد الدولي.

تهدف اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية إلى جذب 5000 شخص من مختلف شرائح المجتمع للمشاركة في جولة هذا العام ، والتسجيل مفتوح الآن.

تمت دعوة جميع السكان للمشاركة في مسيرة الأدعم ويمكن التسجيل للانضمام إلى التتابع في كتارا أو الكورنيش أو مدينة قطر التعليمية.

شهدت النسخة الثانية من جولة العلم ، التي جرت العام الماضي ، مشاركة أكثر من 1500 شخص ، بمن فيهم الرياضيون والرياضيون المتقاعدون وحوالي 800 طالب مدرسة ، حيث قامت جولة العلم بجولة لأكثر من 300 كيلومتر عبر قطر.
