Qatar Museums invites community members to become ‘iNTIMA’ associates
متاحف قطر تدعو أفراد المجتمع ليصبحوا شركاء في برنامج ‘انتماء’
Doha: Qatar Museums (QM) has launched a new programme called “iNTIMA” that provides members of the community with an opportunity to explore and engage with QM’s various departments, nurture their skills and learn more about Qatar’s growing arts and culture sector.
“iNTIMA” is an Arabic word that means a sense of belonging – a word that is appropriate to express a choice to belong to or be associated with a place of work, profession, sector or culture.
Participants are introduced to the working environment within the arts and culture sector; for a duration of either three, six or twelve months on the programme. Candidates may apply to a programme in their area of interest, as per the tailored experiences offered by the various QM departments.
Commenting on the announcement, Mansour Al Dosari, Director of Human Capital Department, said, “We are delighted to offer art and culture enthusiasts an opportunity to work closely with us. We hope that this experience can help enrich their professional journeys and provide them with the needed skills to begin a career in the cultural sector.”
The launch of “iNTIMA” comes as part of QM’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of cultural leaders. The programme is open to all members of the community. Interested applicants must be age 18+ with a minimum of a High School Diploma, and an interest in arts and culture.
Upon successful completion, iNTIMA Associates will receive a certificate of completion that confirms the number of hours completed and experience gained within specific fields in the organisation.
Limited spots are available; interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications before December 15, through the online application form that is available on the website.
أطلقت متاحف قطر برنامجها الجديد “انتماء” والموجه لأبناء المجتمع بهدف توفير أجواء الاحتكاك العملي مع إداراتها واستكشاف أنشطتها لصقل مهاراتهم ضمن بيئة احترافية تتيح تعلم المزيد عن قطاع الثقافة والفنون في دولة قطر.
وأطلقت متاحف قطر على البرنامج اسم “انتماء” لما تحمله الكلمة من دلالات خاصة أنها تعكس معاني ارتباط المرء بمحيطه وعمله وثقافته.
وخلال البرنامج المتوقع أن يتراوح ما بين ثلاثة إلى 12 شهرًا، سيتعرف المشاركون عن قرب على بيئة العمل بقطاع الثقافة بما يلائم اهتماماتهم والخبرات التي يودون الحصول عليها خلال احتكاكهم العملي بإدارات متاحف قطر.
وقال السيد منصور الدوسري، مدير إدارة الموارد البشرية: “نحن سعداء بالترحيب بعشاق الفن والثقافة للعمل عن كثب معنا، ونتمنى أن يستفيدوا من تلك التجربة المتوقع أن تثري رحلتهم المهنية وأن تسلحهم بالمهارات اللازمة لبدء مسيرتهم العملية في قطاع الثقافة”.
ويأتي إطلاق البرنامج ضمن التزام متاحف قطر بإلهام الأجيال القادمة من المنتجين والمبدعين الثقافيين، وسيكون باب التقديم مفتوحًا لأفراد المجتمع، شريطة ألا يقل سن المتقدم عن 18 عامًا، وأن يكون من حملة الشهادة الثانوية ولديه اهتمام خاص بالفنون والثقافة.
وسيتلقى المشاركون شهادة إتمام البرنامج وستنص على عدد الساعات والخبرة المكتسبة خلاله.
