Ooredoo to launch country’s first ‘Qatar Cloud PABX’

Ooredoo in collaboration with Cisco’s BroadSoft, yesterday announced an upcoming service ‘Qatar Cloud PABX’, which is set to be Qatar’s first cloud-based calling service for business customers.
Hosted in Ooredoo’s Qatar Data Centre, the Ooredoo Qatar Cloud PABX platform will provide organisations with a feature-rich Unified Communications Platform to replace legacy Private Automatic Branch Exchanges (PABX).
Using Ooredoo Qatar Cloud PABX, Qatar’s organisations of all sizes and industry verticals will be able to leverage features such as short digit dialling, assigning names to extensions, voicemail, and multiparty conferencing to optimise costs and productivity.
One of the biggest business benefits in moving to Ooredoo Qatar Cloud PABX will be the ability to move to an opex-based model, in which organisation’s pay per use and by transparent monthly billing.
Qatar’s organisations can also easily scale up their infrastructure as their business grows, thanks to running on the cloud on Ooredoo’s industry-leading Qatar Data Centre.
