Doha: A number of residents of Al-Sakhama Street in Al-Wukair area complained about the continuation of work on the sewage development project in the area until the evening hours as dust filled the atmosphere without any barriers during the drilling operations.
They confirmed that the company implementing the project continues its work during the evening hours, and despite numerous complaints from the residents.
The company is still working in the evening, although the project started about six months ago and drilling is still going on.
They called on the Public Works Authority “Ashghal” to reconsider the company’s working hours, and to double the morning shifts to prevent any inconvenience, with the need to solve the problem of scattered dust that has persisted since the beginning of the project.

الدوحة: اشْتكَى عددٌ من سكَّان شارع الصخامة بمنطقة الوكير من استمرار العمل بمشروع تطوير الصرف الصحِّي بالمنطقة حتى ساعات المساء وتطاير للغبار دون وجود أي سواتر أثناء عمليات الحفر.
وأكَّدَوا أنَّ الشركة المنفذة للمشروع تستمرُّ في أعمالها خلال ساعات المساء، ورغم الشكاوى العديدة من الأهالي إلا أنَّ الشركة ما زالت مستمرة في أعمالها مساءً، رغم أنَّ المشروع قد بدأ قبل قرابة ستة أشهر وما زالت أعمال الحفر مستمرة.
وطالبوا هيئة الأشغال العامة «أشغال» بضرورة إعادة النظر في ساعات عمل الشركة التي تستمرُّ مساءً وتكثيف الأعمال في الفترة الصباحية لمنع الإزعاج مع ضرورة حلِّ مشكلة تطاير الغبار التي تستمر منذ بداية المشروع.
