Qatar Philharmonic performs Prokofiev symphony on Friday

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will hold a concert on Friday for the seventh symphony of Prokofiev at the Opera House at the Public Institution of the Cultural District “Katara”, led by Dimitri Ketayenko.
The concert will include the performance of the seventh symphony of Sergei Prokofiev, who lived between 1891-1953, his last symphony, and composed the year before his death on March 5, 1953. وسيتضمن الحفل، أداء السمفونية السابعة لسيرجي بروكوفييف، الذي عاش ما بين 1891-1953، وهي آخر أعماله السيمفونية، وألّفها في العام السابق لوفاته في الخامس من مارس عام 1953. شهدت العاصمة موسكو في الحادي عشر من أكتوبر عام 1952، الأداء الأول لهذه المقطوعة الغنائية المفعمة بالعاطفة، تلك السيمفونية التي تجمع بين البساطة الظاهرية والتعبير الموسيقي العميق، فحقق الأداء نجاحاً مبهراً كان من ثمرته المطالبة بإعادة الأداء مرة أخرى بعد بضعة أشهر، وفي محاولة لبيان مقصد بروكوفييف من السيمفونية، كتبت الصحيفة الروسية «برافدا» إنه أراد أن «يرسم بالموسيقى صورة للشباب المشرق، صورة قادرة على تلبية الاحتياجات الجمالية لمختلف أذواق الشعب السوفييتي».
وفي الجزء الثاني من الحفل، سيتم أداء «متتالية الحفل التنكري»، للملحن الأرميني آرام خاتشاتوريان الذي عاش ما بين 1903-1978، وألّف خاتشاتوريان الموسيقى المصاحبة لمسرحية «الحفل التنكري»، للكاتب الروسي الشهير ميخائيل ليرمونتوف عام 1939، وتتناول المسرحية مظاهر حياة الطبقات العليا في روسيا إبّان النصف الأول من القرن التاسع عشر، وقد استخلص الملحن من هذا العمل الموسيقي متتالية أعدّها لتعزف لاحقاً في الحفلات الموسيقية.
