Tickets of ‘Smurfs’ & ‘Hello Kitty’ go on sale

Tickets for live stage shows ‘Smurfs’ and ‘Hello Kitty’ go on sale starting today, Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) announced.
The beloved characters are landing at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) for a series of shows as part of the vibrant Summer in Qatar (SIQ) programme.
Everyone’s favourite blue creatures, the ‘Smurfs’ Live on Stage – The Smurfs Save Spring’ will be on show from July 18 to 20, while Hello Kitty Live Fashion & Friends’ will delight children from July 25 to 27, both at Al Mayassa Theatre.
Tickets for the two shows presented by QNTC in partnership with Alchemy Project are now on sale through tixbox.com with prices ranging from QR75 to QR275.
‘The Smurfs Live on Stage — The Smurfs Save Spring’ will take audiences on a ‘smurftastic’ journey with the whole gang. Audiences can watch Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Brainy Smurf and Smurfette, match Gargamel the evil wizard and the puppeteers.
Meanwhile, set in modern-day London, ‘Hello Kitty Live Fashion & Friends’ is a story of friendship. The show features Hello Kitty and her friends My Melody, Dear Daniel and Mimmy as they navigate the city and share a passion for creativity. With sparkling costumes and a fantastic soundtrack, the show is sure to delight fans.
Mashal Shahbik of QNTC said: “Families spending this Summer in Qatar will enjoy the most festive and eventful season, with a lineup of events for all ages and tastes.
In addition to Entertainment City, summer long activities at participating malls, theme parks and summer camps, we have brought in popular international stage shows which will entertain the entire family.”
