Al Khaliji sponsors ‘Majd Qatar’ campaign
«الخليجي» يرعى حملة وكتاب «مجد قطر»
Under the umbrella of its initiatives pertaining to the country’s national ambitions, Al Khaliji bank has sponsored the ‘Majd Qatar’ (Qatar Glory) nationwide campaign and third book edition.
Under the theme ‘Wise Vision’, the campaign was initiated and launched by Qatar’s Tawasol Centre at the Museum of Islamic Art with the attendance of several dignitaries, officials and media representatives.
The campaign’s inauguration event coincided with the sixth anniversary of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani’s accession to power, the bank said in a statement. The book, ‘Majd Qatar’, highlights and documents the Qatari renaissance achievements and milestones over the past two years of the blockade imposed on the nation.
Omar al-Emadi, acting group chief business officer at Al Khaliji, said: “Al Khalji is honoured to be extending it support to this nationwide campaign that instils pride in every Qatari citizen.
“It is through this drive that we’ve grown ever more loyal and devoted to our wise leadership, fronted by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, who dedicated his energy, time and strategic vision to the rise of Qatar, even more so during the critical post-blockade era for our beloved nation.
“This dedication lives and transpires through the pages of ‘Majd Qatar’, which perfectly highlights the biggest and most important achievements and projects in support of Qatar National Vision 2030.”
During the launch event, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Jabor al-Thani, chairman, Tawasol Centre, and government officials also took the stage for ceremonial speeches.
A documentary celebrating the accomplishments of His Highness the Amir was also showcased, followed by an art performance piece paying tribute to local heritage. The ceremony concluded with the recognition of several personalities who have contributed to the national vision through their achievements.
The ‘Majd Qatar’ third edition documents and contains historical references, facts and figures sourced from the campaign’s sponsoring government partners on Qatar’s vision and milestones.
في إطار مبادراته الوطنية، شارك بنك الخليج التجاري (الخليجي)، بنك الجيل القادم في قطر، برعاية حملة وكتاب «مجد قطر» بنسختها الثالثة تحت شعار «رؤية رشيدة»، التي نظمها مركز تواصل للإعلان والتنظيم في متحف الفن الإسلامي، بحضور عدد من كبار الشخصيات والمسؤولين وممثلي وسائل الإعلام المرئي والمسموع والمكتوب.
وقد تضمن حفل تدشين الحملة إطلاق كتاب «مجد قطر» الذي سُطّرت فيه صفحات مضيئة من إنجازات النهضة القطرية على مدى عامين من الحصار الجائر على دولة قطر.
وبهذه المناسبة، قال السيد عمر العمادي رئيس قطاع الأعمال للمجموعة بالوكالة في الخليجي: «لقد تشرف بنك الخليجي برعاية هذه الحملة الوطنية التي يفخر بها كل مواطن قطري، فمن خلالها جددنا العهد على الولاء للوطن والإخلاص لقيادتنا الحكيمة ممثلة بصاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، الذي كرس جهده وفكره وسخر وقته من أجل نهضة ورفعة دولة قطر، لا سيما في الفترة التي أعقبت فرض الحصار الجائر على وطننا الحبيب، وهو ما يبرز جلياً في عدد من فصول كتاب مجد قطر، التي تسلط الضوء على أكبر وأهم الإنجازات والمشاريع الوطنية التي تدعم رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030».
وقد شهد الحفل كلمة افتتاحية للشيخ سعود بن عبدالله بن محمد بن جبر آل ثاني رئيس مجلس إدارة مركز تواصل، بالإضافة إلى كلمة لممثلي الجهات الحكومية، كما تم عرض فيلم وثائقي حول إنجازات صاحب السمو أمير البلاد المفدى، تلا ذلك تقديم فقرة فنية تراثية، واختتمت الفعالية بتكريم بعض الشخصيات من أصحاب الإنجازات البارزة.
جدير بالذكر أن كتاب «مجد قطر» يحتوي على معلومات مرجعية موثقة لرؤية وإنجازات قطر مستقاة من الجهات الحكومية الراعية للحملة.
