659 building licences issued in May

Doha: The Planning and Statistics Authority monthly report showed that the number of building permits issued in different municipalities of the state amounted to 659 building licences during the month of May, a decrease of 11 percent from April.

Municipality of Al Rayyan has come at the top of the municipalities with issuance of 184 permits, of the total issued permits, while Doha municipality came in second place with 142 permits, followed by municipality of Al Wakrah with 109 permits , then Al Da’ayen municipality with 97 permits. The rest of the municipalities were as follows: Umm Salal 48 permits, Al Sheehaniya 39 permits, Al Khor 32 permits, and finally Al Shamal 8 permits.

In terms of type of permits issued, data indicates that the new building permits (residential and non-residential) constitutes 51 percent (337 permits) of the total building permits issued during the month of May 2019, while the percentage of additions permits constituted 46 percent (300 permits), and finally fencing permits with 3 percent (22 permits).

Analysis of new residential buildings permits data, indicates that villas top the list, accounting for 71 percent (203 permits) of all new residential buildings permits, followed by dwellings of housing loans permits by 23 percent (65 permits) and apartments buildings by 5 percent (15 permits).

On the other hand, commercial buildings were found to be in the forefront of non-residential buildings permits with 42 percent (21 permits), followed by industrial buildings e.g. workshops and factories with 30 percent (15 permits), then governmental buildings with 18 percent (9 permits).

أظهرت إحصاءات لجهاز التخطيط والإحصاء أن عدد رخص المباني الصادرة عن مختلف البلديات بلغت 659 رخصة خلال شهر مايو الماضي، بانخفاض %11 عن الشهر السابق.

ويجري التنسيق بين جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء ووزارة البلدية والبيئة لإصدار شهري لبيانات رخص البناء التي تعطي مؤشراً تقريبياً لأداء قطاع البناء والتشييد بما يحتله من مكانة مهمة في اقتصاد الدولة.

وتشير البيانات إلى أن بلدية الريان جاءت في مقدمة البلديات، من حيث عدد رخص البناء الصادرة بواقع 184 رخصة، أي ما نسبته 28 % من إجمالي الرخص الصادرة، وجاءت بعدها بلدية الدوحة بنسبة 22 %، لتسجل 142 رخصة، وتلتها الوكرة بنسبة 17 %، ثم الظعاين بنحو 15 %.

كما تظهر البيانات أن عدد تراخيص المباني الجديدة (سكنية وغير سكنية) شكلت 51 % من إجمالي رخص البناء الصادرة خلال مايو، في حين شكلت تراخيص بناء الإضافات 46 %، وتراخيص التحويط 3 %.

وتصدرت رخص الفلل القائمة، بعد أن شكلت 71 % من إجمالي رخص المباني السكنية الجديدة، تليها فئة مساكن قروض الإسكان بنسبة 23 %، ثم العمارات ذات الشقق السكنية بنسبة

5 %.

وجاءت المباني التجارية في مقدمة تراخيص المباني غير السكنية بنسبة 42 %، تليها المباني الصناعية كالورش والمصانع بنسبة 30 %، ثم المباني الحكومية بنسبة 18 %.
