Regency Group & Dell sign MoU
مجموعة ريجنسي وديل توقع مذكرة تفاهم
Regency Group Holding, one of Qatar’s leading business organisations, with entities in real estate, travel & tourism, hospitality and technology industries, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies, yesterday. The MoU was signed by Hassan Ibrahim Al Asmakh, Vice-President and CEO at Regency Group Holding; and Ghassan Kosta, Country Manager, Dell Technologies, Qatar, in the presence of Margret Franco, Senior Vice-President- Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marketing at Dell Technologies. The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the Dell Technologies Forum at St. Regis Hotel.
The collaboration aims at empowering the retail and real estate customers of Regency Group Holding with smart technology solutions.
“This is a very pleasant initiative that should really span the entire GCC and the transformation of security and building management in the real estate sector and how we manage the interconnected entities”, Ibrahim Al Asmakh told The Peninsula, after the signing ceremony.
“Our tie-up with Dell is in line with the Regency Group’s vision that how we can increase our capacity by relying less on human capital. Digitization and automation is usually synonymous with less reliance on human capital…. Some of our companies are working on drone analytics. Some companies, in the run up to FIFA 2022, are preparing for the reduction on the reliance on manpower by enabling technology,” he said.
Earlier, in a statement issued to the media, Ibrahim Al Asmakh said digitization is unlocking new levels of socio-economic property. However, in order to capitalize on these opportunities, organizations in Qatar, big or small, need to adopt and adapt to advancements in technology. “Therefore, as we progress in our journey to modernize our business, we wanted to empower our real estate and retail customers with the right technology that can help them harness the power of innovation. And, we hope that our collaboration with Dell Technologies reflects this commitment.”
Qatar’s Vision 2030 heavily emphasizes on sound economic development being an engine that drives progress by providing more opportunities and better way of life to the citizens. Achieving this objective greatly hinges on Qatar’s ability to build a sustainable business environment-one that can attract more investments, is innovation-backed and showcases a world-class infrastructural backbone.
Keeping this objective in mind, Regency Group Holding wanted to empower their real estate and retail customers with the right technology solutions to help enrich and personalize customer experience. The MoU will help the Group leverage and offer the necessary technology expertise, industry knowledge coupled with Internet of Things (IoY) and artificial intelligence (AI), he said.

وقّعت مجموعة ريجنسي القابضة مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة «دل تكنولوجيز»، وذلك لتوفير تطبيقات ذكية لعملاء المجموعة في مجالي التجزئة والعقارات، وتأتي مذكرة التفاهم انسجاماً مع رؤى وتطلعات رؤية قطر 2030، واستعداد البلاد لاستضافة بطولة كأس العالم 2022 لكرة القدم. ووقّع مذكرة التفاهم السيد حسن إبراهيم الأصمخ الرئيس التنفيذي لدى مجموعة «ريجنسي» القابضة، والسيد غسان كوستا مدير «دل تكنولوجيز» في قطر، حيث جرى التوقيع على هامش منتدى «دل تكنولوجيز»؛ الذي عقد أمس في فندق «سانت ريجيس الدوحة».
بموجب الاتفاقية، يقدم الجانبان للشركات والمؤسسات في قطر خريطة طريق تمكنهم من أن يصبحو معالم مميزة للاقتصاد الوطني، فضلاً عن العمل على رفع مستوى الوعي بالتقدّم التقني المهم لدفع مسيرة التحول قُدماً.
تطوير الأعمال
وبهذه المناسبة، قال السيد حسن إبراهيم الأصمخ، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة ريجنسي القابضة: «إن التطورات التكنولوجية أصبح لها أثر مباشر في تحقيق مستويات أعلى وأفضل اجتماعياً واقتصادياً»، حيث أكد أن الشركات والمؤسسات تحتاج لتبني التطورات التقنية والتكنولوجية لتعظيم الفرص المتاحة.
وأضاف السيد حسن إبراهيم الأصمخ أن توقيع مجموعة ريجنسي لمذكرة التفاهم سيساهم في تقدم مسيرة تطوير الأعمال التجارية، لافتاً إلى أن تمكين عملاء العقارات والتجزئة لدى المجموعة من خلال التطبيقات الذكية سيجعلهم أقرب من مصالحهم وأعمالهم، متمنياً نجاح التعاون مع شركة «دل تكنولوجيز» في تحقيق رؤى «ريجنسي» لخدمة عملاء العقارات والتجزئة.
التحول الرقمي
إلى ذلك، بين السيد غسان كوستا -مدير «دل تكنولوجيز» في قطر- أن التكنولوجيا والتقنيات الرقيمة لم تعد جزءاً من الأعمال التجارية، وإنما هي أعمال تجارية قائمة بحد ذاتها، مؤكداً أن التحول الرقمي بات ضرورة ملحّة وواضحة لتحقيق تقدم البشرية بمختلف المجتمعات حول العالم.
وأضاف كوستا: «يسرنا التعاون مع مجموعة ريجنسي القابضة، ومساعدة عملائها على الاستفادة من تجربة أكثر ثراءً ويُسراً وسلاسة»، مشيراً إلى أن «دل تكنولوجيز» ستعمل على منح مجموعة ريجنسي مزايا تنافسية من وحي الخبرات المتراكمة والحلول الريادية في القطاعات كافة، وهو أمر نرى أنه بالغ الأهمية لتحقيق النجاح المنشود في هذه الحقبة المعتمدة اعتماداً كبيراً على البيانات الرقمية».
وعقد منتدى «دل تكنولوجيز» تحت عنوان: «اجعله حقيقياً»، بحضور قوي للتقنية السبعة لتكنولوجيا «Dell» وقادة الأعمال المتطلعين إلى المستقبل، بهدف مساعدة الشركات والمؤسسات في دولة قطر على تسريع المبادرات الوطنية والتجارية في مجال التحوّل التكنولوجي والارتقاء بمكانتها في مجال الابتكار.
وتؤكد رؤية قطر 2030 أن التنمية الاقتصادية السليمة هي محرك عجلات التطوّر عبر إتاحة المزيد من الفرص والارتقاء بأساليب المعيشة للسكان، ويعتمد تحقيق هذا الهدف اعتماداً كبيراً على قدرة الدولة على بناء بيئة مستدامة للأعمال التجارية تكون صالحة لاستقطاب المزيد من الاستثمارات، ومدعومة بالابتكار، وأنها تنطوي على بنية تحتية داعمة لاقتصاد عالمي المستوى.
وسعياً منها إلى دعم عملائها في القطاع العقاري وقطاع التجزئة، وضعت مجموعة ريجنسي القابضة الحلول التقنية المناسبة التي من شأنها المساعدة في إثراء تجربة هؤلاء العملاء، وتمكينهم من تعديلها لتناسب متطلباتهم ورغباتهم الخاصة.
