Inaugural Qatar Airways flight to Rabat on May 29
«القطرية» تبدأ رحلاتها إلى الرباط أواخر مايو المقبل
Qatar Airways will launch flights to Rabat, Morocco, on May 29. Services to the Moroccan capital will be served by a Boeing 787 three times a week.
Qatar Airways also announced its joint business agreement with Royal Air Maroc to expand the number of services available to meet increased consumer demand for flights to Morocco.
In addition to launching Rabat via Marrakech, Qatar Airways will also now offer daily flights to Casablanca, providing seamless connectivity for passengers who wish to explore the country’s many vibrant cities.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive HE Akbar al-Baker said: “Morocco is a tremendously popular destination with our passengers, and we are very pleased to launch this new gateway, while also increasing our presence in the country by expanding our joint business agreement with Royal Air Maroc. Our expansion in Morocco demonstrates our commitment to the region, which began in 2002.
“Our close partnership with Royal Air Maroc will also provide our passengers access to their comprehensive network in North and West Africa, while enabling Royal Air Maroc passengers to enjoy seamless connectivity to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network spanning six continents.”
Qatar Airways currently operates five weekly flights from Doha to Marrakech via Casablanca on a Boeing 777, in addition to two direct weekly flights from Doha to Casablanca.
The carrier’s joint business agreement partner, Royal Air Maroc, provides five weekly flights from Casablanca to Doha.
Visitors to Morocco can enjoy a wide variety of activities, from exploring lush gardens to shopping for crafts, textiles and jewellery in its many traditional souqs.
Travellers can also enjoy modern architecture set against the backdrop of centuries of history and culture.
Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 250 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA) to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
HIA has recently been ranked as fourth best airport in the world at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2019.
Additionally, the airport has been ranked as a five-star Airport and was honoured with the title of ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ for the fifth year in a row and ‘Best Staff Service in the Middle East’ for the fourth year in a row.
أعلنت الخطوط الجوية القطرية عن موعد إطلاق رحلاتها إلى مدينة الرباط، وذلك بواقع ثلاث رحلات أسبوعياً على طائرة من طراز بوينج 787 دريملاينر، اعتباراً من 29 مايو لعام 2019، كما يسرّ الخطوط الجوية القطرية الإعلان عن تعزيز اتفاقية مشتركة في مجال الأعمال مع الخطوط الملكية المغربية، بهدف زيادة عدد الرحلات بين الدوحة وعدد من المدن المغربية، وتلبية الإقبال المتزايد على السفر إلى المغرب.
وبالإضافة إلى تدشين الرحلات إلى الرباط عبر مراكش، سوف تشغّل «القطرية» رحلات إضافية إلى الدار البيضاء، متيحة بذلك مزيداً من خيارات السفر أمام المسافرين الذين يودون اكتشاف المدن المغربية.
إقبال
وقال سعادة السيد أكبر الباكر الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية: «يسعدنا الإعلان عن موعد إطلاق رحلاتنا إلى الرباط، وتحظى المغرب بإقبال كبير من قبل مسافرينا، ويسرّنا تلبية هذا الإقبال بتدشين رحلاتنا إلى وجهة جديدة في هذه الدولة، وزيادة عدد رحلاتنا إلى وجهة أخرى من خلال تعزيز الاتفاقية المشتركة في مجال الأعمال مع الخطوط الملكية المغربية، ويؤكد توسعنا في المغرب على التزامنا بتقديم أفضل الخدمات للمسافرين من وإلى المغرب، والتي أطلقنا أولى رحلاتنا إليها في عام 2002».
وأضاف: «سوف تفسح شراكتنا الوثيقة مع الخطوط الملكية المغربية المجال لمسافرينا للوصول والسفر إلى شبكة وجهات الخطوط الملكية المغربية في شمال ووسط إفريقيا، فيما سيحظى ركاب الشركة المغربية بفرصة السفر إلى شبكة واسعة من الوجهات في القارات الست معنا».
وتسيّر «القطرية» حالياً خمس رحلات أسبوعياً من الدوحة إلى مراكش عبر الدار البيضاء على طائرة من طراز بوينج 777، بالإضافة إلى رحلتين مباشرتين أسبوعياً إلى الدار البيضاء، فيما تسيّر الخطوط الملكية المغربية خمس رحلات أسبوعياً من الدار البيضاء إلى الدوحة.
