Vodafone Qatar announces partnership with QIFF 2019

Vodafone Qatar is the official telecommunications partner of the 10th edition of Qatar International Food Festival, which runs from today to March 30 at the Oxygen Park in Qatar Foundation’s Education City.
The hugely popular family friendly event, organised and delivered by the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), will be packed with celebrity chefs, food tastings, chef demonstrations, food competitions, kids’ activities, and more.
Among the many notable regional and international chefs participating are Qatar’s own Aisha al-Tamimi, ‘queen of the Arabian kitchen’ Manal al-Alem, Japanese celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto, James Beard, award-winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel known for his croissant-donut hybrid – the Cronut, and famed Indian chef Ranveer Brar.
As part of the partnership, Vodafone Qatar will ensure that its world-class GigaNet network will be available across the Oxygen Park so that organisers, participants, and visitors can connect to high-speed internet for free via Vodafone-powered Wi-Fi hotspots.
Vodafone Qatar COO Diego Camberos said: “We’re very excited to sponsor the highly-awaited annual event in Qatar’s calendar that with each year gets bigger and better. And we’re delighted that our network will help everyone at QIFF capture and share all their special moments at the event.

أعلنت «فودافون قطر» عن شراكتها كراعٍ رسمي للاتصالات للنسخة العاشرة من «مهرجان قطر الدولي للأغذية»، الذي يقام بين 20-30 مارس الحالي في حديقة الأكسجين بالمدينة التعليمية التابعة لمؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع.

وضمن إطار هذه الرعاية، توفر «فودافون قطر» جيجانت – شبكتها عالمية المستوى عبر أنحاء حديقة الأكسجين، مما يتيح للمنظِّمين والمشاركين والزوار فرصة استخدام اتصال إنترنت عالي السرعة مجاناً عبر نقاط اتصال لاسلكية «واي فاي» بدعم من «فودافون».
وبهذه المناسبة، قال السيد دييجو كامبيروس، الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات في «فودافون قطر»: «نحن سعداء جداً لكوننا شريك الاتصال الرسمي لمهرجان قطر الدولي للأغذية؛ الذي يزداد نطاقه وشعبيته عاماً تلو الآخر، ويسرنا أن يتمكن جميع المشاركين والزوار من مشاركة لحظاتهم الخاصة في هذا الحدث عبر شبكتنا المتطورة. وتُعدّ هذه المرة الرابعة التي نتعاون فيها مع المجلس الوطني للسياحة في فعاليات رائدة، مثل منطقة المشجعين في قطر فان زون ومهرجان قطر للتسوق، ونتطلع إلى استمرار هذا التعاون في المستقبل». من جهته، قال السيد راشد القريصي، من المجلس الوطني للسياحة: «نحن فخورون بالنجاح المذهل الذي حققه مهرجان قطر الدولي للأغذية خلال الدورات التسع الماضية، وبالعدد الكبير من الشركاء الذين استقطبهم على مدار هـذه السنوات. وسيوفر المهرجان لضيوف دورته العاشرة تجربة لا تنسى بمساندة الشركاء، وفي مقدمتهم «فودافون قطر»؛ التي ستمكّن الزوار من مشاركة لحظاتهم النابضة في هذه الاحتفالية متعددة الثقافات مع الناس في جميع أنحاء العالم».
