Ooredoo Money gets new feature for paying domestic workers’ salary

Doha: Ooredoo has added a new feature, titled ‘Domestic Workers Salary’, to its popular Ooredoo Money service, providing a quick, easy and reliable way for customers to pay salaries to domestic workers.
To make tracking easy, customers will have a digital record of every salary payment with the option to download or email it to anyone directly from the app.
The new service – accessible through the Ooredoo Money mWallet – allows customers to register domestic workers on their Ooredoo Money app, add funds to their mWallet and then pay their domestic workers, either as a single transaction or as a scheduled regular transaction.
To use this feature, customers will need to navigate to the ‘Domestic Workers Salary’ feature on their app, then choose from the sub-options in order to add a domestic worker, edit or delete a domestic worker, schedule a salary payment or pay a salary.
To add a beneficiary, customers will simply need their domestic worker’s wallet number, passport or QID number and the amount of their salary.
Once the salary is paid, either as a single transaction or as a recurring scheduled transaction, both the customer and the domestic worker will receive an SMS confirmation.
Fees for salary payments are just QR10. To celebrate the launch of the new service, Ooredoo is offering special incentives. A customer who pays a salary via his or her mWallet will get 100 Nojoom points for every salary payment to any domestic worker until December 31, 2019.
Domestic workers making their first international remittance will get cashback of up to QR15 until June 30, 2019. Domestic workers making their second or third transaction will get cashback of QR5 until 30 June 2019.

We expect the scheduled payment option, in particular, to be popular amongst time-poor customers looking for ways to streamline such monthly responsibilities.
We know customers will agree this is a valuable addition to our already useful Ooredoo Money service.”
Customers can access the new Domestic Workers Salary Payment service via their Ooredoo Money app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play.

ولكي يتمكن العملاء من متابعة معاملاتهم المالية بسهولة ووضوح، تضمنت الميزة الجديدة سجلاً رقمياً يشمل جميع الرواتب والمعاملات التي قام العملاء بتحويلها، مع خيار لتنزيل هذا السجل على أجهزتهم أو إرساله عبر البريد الإلكتروني لأي شخص آخر مباشرة من خلال تطبيق خدمات ooredoo المالية.
وتتيح الميزة الجديدة – المتاحة عبر محفظة الجوال في خدمات ooredoo المالية – للعملاء تسجيل بيانات العمالة المنزلية في تطبيق خدمات ooredoo المالية، وإضافة الأموال في محافظ الجوال الخاصة بهم، ثم دفع الرواتب للعمالة المنزلية مرة واحدة أو بشكل دوري.
تطبيق
ويمكن للعملاء الوصول إلى هذه الميزة الجديدة واستخدامها من خلال تطبيق خدمات ooredoo المالية. وهي توفر لهم عدة خيارات لإضافة أو تعديل أو حذف معلومات العمالة المنزلية، وإضافة جدول زمني لدفع الرواتب بشكل دوري أو لمرة واحدة. ولإضافة المعلومات الخاصة بالعمالة المنزلية، سيحتاج العملاء لإضافة رقم محفظة الجوال الخاصة بمستلم الراتب، ورقم جواز سفره أو بطاقته الشخصية القطرية، مع تحديد قيمة الراتب. وعند دفع الراتب، سواء لمرة واحدة أو بشكل دوري، سيتم إرسال إشعار لكل من المرسل والمستلم عبر رسالة نصية لتأكيد إتمام المعاملة بنجاح.
وتبلغ قيمة رسوم دفع الرواتب باستخدام هذه الميزة 10 ر. ق فقط. وبمناسبة إطلاق الميزة الجديدة، أعلنت الشركة عن منح عملائها المكافآت التالية:
• يحصل العملاء على 100 نقطة نجوم في كل مرة يقومون فيها بدفع الراتب لأي من العمالة المنزلية باستخدام محفظة الجوال، وذلك لغاية 31 ديسمبر 2019.
• سيتمكن العملاء من العمالة المنزلية – الذين يقومون بتحويل الأموال دولياً لأول مرة عبر خدمات ooredoo المالية – من استرجاع ما يصل لغاية 15 ر. ق من رسوم التحويل، أي أنهم سيتمكنون من تجربة الخدمة مجاناً عند تحويل الأموال إلى معظم البلدان.
• كما سيتمكن العملاء من العمالة المنزلية – عند تحويل الأموال دولياً في كل من المرة الثانية والثالثة- من استرجاع مبلغ 5 ر. ق كمكافأة فورية.
