Aspire Wonderland festival wows visitors
مهرجان أسباير أرض العجائب يبهر الزوار
Doha: Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) kicked off a mind-blowing festival on Tuesday, titled; Aspire Wonderland festival and saw a tremendous success as 5,000 visitors flocked Aspire park to watch animated fantasy characters depicted using state-of-the-art lighting techniques.
As the sun descended on Tuesday, an imaginary gateway to the world of fantasy and folk tales was open to the public with innovative light techniques. Centring Aspire park, lies Aspire lake featuring a spectacular dancing water fountain moving with a world of majestic melodies. Commenting on the Aspire Wonderland Festival, Tahani Khalifa Al Suwaidi, a member of the organising committee of the festival, said: “We seek innovative and creative angles when organising community events at Aspire to ensure a memorable experience. Our interest in the smallest details begin when choosing artistic shows that suit all age groups.
A few weeks ago, we celebrated the Aspire International Kite Festival and now we have added a new and distinctive event to the country’s agenda of entertainment and tourism activities.” Audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy the dancing fountain shows again today at 5pm, 6:40pm, 7:40pm, 8:40pm, 9:40pm, and 10:40pm.
There will also be additional weekend shows at 11:40pm on Friday and Saturday. The festival is scheduled to last until March 30, with an open invitation to the public daily from 5pm to 10pm.

وكأنها هبطت من السماء، أو كأننا نسير بين صفحات رواية خيالية مرسومة بخيوط من نور، هكذا وصف الزوار ما شاهدوه من معروضات ومجسمات مستوحاة من القصص الأسطورية والتي توزعت عبر أرجاء حديقة «أسباير»، في مشهد فني جديد ومبتكر في مهرجان «أسباير أرض العجائب» الذي استقطب قرابة 5000 زائر في يومه الأول.
وتعليقاً على هذا الإبداع الفني الفريد من نوعه والذي يقام للمرة الأولى في قطر، قالت السيدة تهاني خليفة السويدي عضو اللجنة المنظمة للمهرجان: «نبحث دوماً عن عناصر الإبداع والإبهار في مختلف الفعاليات المجتمعية التي تنظمها مؤسسة «أسباير زون» لنقدم لزوار الحديقة تجربة يصعب نسيانها، إن اهتمامنا بأدق التفاصيل يبدأ منذ التخطيط للفعالية ذاتها عبر اختيار كل ما هو جديد في عالم الإبداع والفنون، فمنذ أسابيع قليلة احتفينا بمهرجان أسباير الدولي للطائرات الورقية، وها نحن الآن نقدم فعالية جديدة ومميزة تضاف إلى أجندة الفعاليات الترفيهية والسياحية في الدولة».
وسيتواصل المهرجان الذي يأتي برعاية من فودافون قطر والمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا» حتى مساء السبت المقبل 30 مارس، يومياً من الخامسة وحتى العاشرة مساء، والدعوة عامة للجماهير للحضور والاستمتاع بالمهرجان في الهواء الطلق.
