The Group Securities uses Vodafone Qatar’s business solutions

Vodafone Qatar and The Group Securities have signed an agreement that sees Qatar’s largest brokerage firm use Vodafone’s business solutions, including high-speed Corporate Internet and SMS service to guarantee a seamless trading experience for its more than 400,000 investors.

This followed an extensive assessment of Vodafone’s technical and commercial capabilities that was put to test during the recent Qatar Aluminum Manufacturing Company (Qamco) initial public offering.

The Group processed thousands of electronic transactions via their mobile and online trading platforms supported by Vodafone’s high-quality Internet bandwidths.

Moreover, Vodafone’s SMS service allowed The Group to instantly connect with their customers for trading updates.

Vodafone Qatar head of Large Sales Mahday al-Hebabi said: “We’re proud to be the telecom partner of choice for The Group and to be supporting their delivery of a seamless trading environment using our world class robust network and solutions.

Vodafone Qatar is working on creating a strong digital ecosystem by providing key businesses in the country with its world-class solutions. Last month, the company unveiled GigaNet — the network of the future — Vodafone’s promise to customers and to the country to pioneer the latest technologies and innovations.

وقّعت شركة «فودافون قطر» و»المجموعة للأوراق المالية» اتفاقية تستخدم الأخيرة بموجبها حلول الأعمال التي تقدّمها الأولى، بما فيها خدمات الإنترنت عالي السرعة للشركات والرسائل النصية القصيرة (SMS)، وذلك لتوفير تجربة تداول سهلة لأكثر من 400 ألف مستثمر.

وجاء توقيع هذه الاتفاقية بعد إجراء تقييم مكثّف لقدرات «فودافون» الفنية والتجارية، والتي تم اختبارها خلال الطرح العام الأولي لأسهم شركة «قطر لصناعة الألومنيوم» (قامكو)؛ حيث أجرت المجموعة الآلاف من العمليات الإلكترونية عبر منصات التداول الخاصة بها على الهواتف المحمولة والإنترنت، بدعم من خدمة الإنترنت ذات النطاق العريض لشركة «فودافون قطر». كما أتاحت خدمة الرسائل النصية القصيرة للمجموعة التواصل الفوري مع عملائها لإحاطتهم بآخر مستجدات التداول. وبهذه المناسبة، قال السيد مهدي الأحبابي، مدير قطاع مبيعات الشركات الكبرى لدى «فودافون قطر»: «نحن فخورون بأن نكون شريك الاتصالات المفضّل للمجموعة للأوراق المالية، وبدعمهم في توفير بيئة مناسبة لإجراء عمليات التداول بالاعتماد على شبكاتنا وحلولنا عالمية المستوى. ونحن في «فودافون قطر» نسعى دائماً إلى ترسيخ مكانتنا كشريك رائد في توفير المنصات الذكية وحلول الاتصال الموثوقة للشركات القطرية، التزاماً منا بتحقيق المزيد من التقدم والازدهار لدولة قطر».
