Shura Council participates in Arab Parliament hearing session

A Shura Council delegation chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the Council, H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti, in a hearing session held by the Arab Parliament at the headquarters of League of Arab States in Cairo, to remove the Republic of the Sudan for the list of States sponsoring terrorism.

The session is held based on the resolution of the Council of the League of Arab States at its 29th ordinary session to adopt the plan of the Arab Parliament to remove the name of Sudan from the list of States sponsoring terrorism.The resolution calls on the Arab Parliament to implement the provisions of this plan and enable it to move at all levels to implement it.

A delegation from the Shura Council will participate in the third session of the Third Legislative Term of the Arab Parliament, to be held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo from February 10-12.

يشارك وفد من مجلس الشورى في الجلسة الثالثة لدور الانعقاد الثالث من الفصل التشريعي الثاني للبرلمان العربي، المقرر عقدها بمقر جامعة الدول العربية بالقاهرة خلال الفترة من 10 – 12 فبراير الجاري.

كما يشارك الوفد في اجتماعات اللجان الأربع الدائمة في البرلمان العربي، ومن ضمنها اجتماع لجنة الشؤون الاقتصادية والمالية، لمناقشة مقترح تشريع قانون استرشادي لجذب رؤوس الأموال العربية للعالم العربي، فضلاً عن مقترح تشريع قانون استرشادي لتحقيق الأمن الغذائي.;
