«Public Parks» launches a treasure hunt competition

Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. (AAB), the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus has announced to hold third AAB Treasure Hunt in collaboration with the Public Parks Department of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment on March 15, Friday.

The AAB Treasure Hunt 2019 is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focusing on the protection of environment, promotion of the public parks in Qatar and road safety.

AAB Treasure Hunt is not a road race. Participants are in for another fun-filled and exciting adventure when they explore several public parks in Qatar, solve brain teasers, complete park challenges and find the hidden treasures in the quickest time possible at each designated public park.

They get a chance to win valuable prizes worth QR5,000, QR3,000, QR1,500 and other special prizes. On the wake of AAB Treasure Hunt’s successful events for two consecutive years, all the participants of the AAB Treasure Hunt 2019 will enjoy this latest version as they embark on a ‘Space Challenge’ that focuses on ‘winning back Mother Earth’.

AAB’s corporate culture involves contributing towards a Green environment by way of recycling through its internal sustainable programme. Its CSR values aims to build close and cooperative relationships with a wide spectrum of individuals and organizations involved in environmental preservation, hence the collaboration with the Public Parks Department.

نظّمت وزارة البلدية والبيئة ممثلة بإدارة الحدائق العامة، مؤتمراً صحافياً أمس، بالتعاون مع شركة عبدالله عبدالغني وإخوانه، للإعلان عن انطلاق مسابقة البحث عن الكنز.

حضر المؤتمر كل من السيد محمد علي الخوري مدير إدارة الحدائق العامة بالوزارة، والمدير التنفيذي لشركة عبدالله عبدالغني وإخوانه، وعدد من ممثلي الوزارة والشركة.

يأتي ذلك انطلاقاً من الحرص على تعزيز الشراكة والمسؤولية المجتمعية والتعاون مع القطاع الخاص، كما تهدف إلى تعزيز دور الحدائق العامة في قطر والتذكير بممارسات السلامة على الطريق.

وتقدّم السيد محمد علي الخوري -مدير إدارة الحدائق العامة بالوزارة- بالشكر لكل القائمين على تنظيم المسابقة للعام الثالث على التوالي، بعد النجاح والإقبال المميز الذي حققته خلال الأعوام الماضية.

وأكد أن الهدف الأساسي من المسابقة هو التركيز على النواحي البيئية من خلال مختلف الفعاليات بالحدائق العامة.

وقال: «إن الفعالية لا تُعدّ سباقاً؛ إنما للتعريف بأهمية البيئة وأنها دعوة للاستمتاع بالبيئة والطبيعة وضرورة المحافظة عليها». لافتاً إلى دعم الوزارة لكل مبادرة من شأنها أن تصب في مصلحة الحدائق والبيئة.;
