Manateq’s commitment recognised with ISO 27001 Certification

DOHA: Manateq’s endeavor to provide world-class Industrial Zones, Warehousing and Logistics Parks that are safe and secure, has yet again received an international stamp of approval by obtaining ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system. The certification was performed by Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide.

Intertek certified Manateq as compliant with all of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification requirements – the international standard from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission. Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the standard requires the certification of an organization’s information security management controls for areas such as data security and business continuity. The certification extends to every level of an organization’s IT infrastructure stack, including asset management, access control, human resource security, and application security.

Achieving the ISO 27001 standard certifies that Manateq has the requisite information security controls in place to protect client data. The certification is awarded only to those companies that can meet the standard as judged by an independent, qualified team of auditors.

Achieving the ISO/IEC 27001 standard involves a two-stage security audit; including an initial review of the company’s ISMS documentation.

أعلنت شركة مناطق، وهي المطوّر والمشغّل الرئيسي للمناطق الصناعية واللوجستية ومناطق التخزين في قطر، عن حصولها على شهادة «آيزو 27011» الدولية، تقديراً لنظام إدارة أمن المعلومات المستخدم، وقد استوفت الشركة متطلبات الحصول على الشهادة، حيث أشرفت «إنترتك»، المزود الرائد لحلول ضمان الجودة الشاملة لمختلف القطاعات في جميع أنحاء العالم، على تقييم الشركة، ومدى جدارتها بالحصول على الشهادة. ومنحت «إنترتك» الشهادة لشركة مناطق، نظراً لتلبيتها جميع متطلبات شهادة ISO/IEC 27001:2013، والتي تجمع المعايير الدولية من المنظمة الدولية للمعايير (ISO) واللجنة الكهروتقنية الدولية (IEC). ويتطلب المعيار الذي وضعته المنظمة الدولية للمعايير (ISO)، التصديق على ضوابط إدارة أمن معلومات المنظمة في مجالات مثل أمن البيانات واستمرارية العمل. وتشمل الشهادة التصديق على كل مستوى من مستويات البنية التحتية لتقنية المعلومات في المؤسسة، بما في ذلك إدارة الأصول، والتحكم في الوصول، وأمن الموارد البشرية، وأمان التطبيقات.

ويُعتبر حصول مناطق على هذه الشهادة اعترافاً بامتلاكها ضوابط أمن المعلومات المطلوبة لحماية بيانات العملاء، حيث تُمنح هذه الشهادة للشركات التي تستوفي المتطلبات والمعايير المحددة، حسب تقييم فريق مستقل من المدققين المؤهلين.

التزام

مرحلتان

ويتطلب الحصول على شهادة ISO/IEC 27001 المرور بمرحلتين من التدقيق الأمني، تتضمن مراجعة أولية لوثائق نظام إدارة أمن المعلومات في الشركة، يعقبها تدقيق رسمي معمّق لتقييم إجراءات تطبيق النظام وفق متطلبات ومعايير الشهادة، كما يتوجب على الشركة أن تخضع لعمليات تدقيق دورية لاحقة، لضمان التزامها بمعايير الشهادة.

وقد سبق أن حصلت شركة مناطق سابقاً على شهادتي الآيزو ISO 14001:2015 وBS OHSAS 18001:2007 عن نظام إدارة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة الخاص بالشركة (HSEMS)، نظراً لالتزامها بأعلى معايير إدارة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة.;
