Doha Bank honoured for its support to ‘We Become Stronger’ campaign book

Doha: Doha Bank, one of the leading lenders in Qatar, was honored by ‘We Become Stronger’ campaign, in recognition of its supporting role as one of the main sponsors of the book.

‘We Become Stronger’ campaign, which has been held under the patronage of H E Sheikh Saoud bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank, and under the supervision of the Qatari Government, in partnership with the Media Center for Youth at the Ministry of Culture and Sports, has honoured Doha Bank for its fruitful efforts to support all national projects in the country, which contributes to the economic development and highlights the true picture of development and progress in beloved Qatar.

This campaign was approved to be the first official congratulation to the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Qatari people on Qatar National Day. Besides, the campaign’s book will be the first book to include the history of the government sector, the companies operating in the business sector and the history of the media sector over the past years under various circumstances to prove to the world how Qatar has become stronger throughout history.

Ahmad Ali Al Hanzab, the Head of Administration and Property Department at Doha Bank, received the appreciation shield on behalf of Doha Bank during a special ceremony held on this occasion. On receiving the award, Al Hanzab commented on the important role of the wise leadership of the Amir and the Qatari Government. He said: “‘We Become Stronger’ campaign was approved under the slogan ‘We are proud of our history’ to send a message of congratulation and appreciation from all the institutions of the state and to highlight the history of the government institutions, including the public, private and media sectors.

The campaign’s book also aims to show to the world how Qatar is able to transform the difficult conditions into better opportunities without any political dimension, and to emphasise the identity of the State and its history as it embodies the ideals and hopes on which the state was established and the anniversary of its founding. The book will be delivered as a gift to His Highness the Amir of Qatar and the people of Qatar.

On this occasion, Sheikh Abdul Rehman bin Mohammad bin Jabor Al Thani, Managing Director of Doha Bank, said: “The National Day is the perfect occasion for us to reminisce about Qatar’s milestones and accomplishments over the years. It is also an excellent opportunity to explore our traditions and cultures and gain a deeper understanding of our history.

My heartiest wishes to our respected leaders, as well as to our citizens and expatriates.” His Excellency also emphasized that as we celebrate together the national day of Qatar, we are proud at Doha Bank to play a pivotal role in enhancing the growth of the country’s economy to reach this high level.

كرّمت حملة «أصبحنا أقوى»، تحت رعاية سعادة الشيخ سعود بن عبدالله بن محمد جبر آل ثاني، وتحت إشراف حكومة دولة قطر، وبشراكة إعلامية مع المركز الإعلامي للشباب التابع لوزارة الثقافة والرياضة؛ بنك الدوحة لجهوده المثمرة في دعم جميع المشاريع الوطنية بالدولة التي تساهم في التطور الاقتصادي وإبراز الصورة الحقيقية للنهضة المباركة التي تعيشها دولة قطر.

وتم اعتماد هذه الحملة لتكون بمثابة التهنئة الرسمية الأولى لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وشعب قطر الكريم، بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة. كما سيتم إصدار أول كتاب يضم تاريخ القطاع الحكومي والشركات العاملة في قطاع الأعمال وتاريخ القطاع الإعلامي على مدار السنوات الماضية، في ظل مختلف الظروف التي مرّت بها دولتنا الحبيبة، لنثبت للعالم كيف أصبحت قطر أقوى على مر التاريخ.

وتسلّم السيد أحمد آل حنزاب، رئيس دائرة الشؤون الإدارية والممتلكات لدى بنك الدوحة، التذكار ودرع التقدير بالنيابة عن بنك الدوحة، خلال الاحتفال الخاص الذي أقيم بهذه المناسبة.

وبمناسبة تسلّمه الجائزة، نوّه السيد أحمد آل حنزاب بأهمية دور القيادة الحكيمة وحكومة دولة قطر الرشيدة، فقد تم اعتماد حملة «أصبحنا أقوى» تحت شعار «فخورون بتاريخنا» لتقديم رسالة تهنئة وتقدير من جميع مؤسسات الدولة، ولإبراز تاريخ مؤسسات الدولة الحكومية منها والخاصة والإعلامية، وصولاً إلى كيفية تحويل الظروف الصعبة لفرص أفضل -دون أي بُعد سياسي- وتؤكد على هوية دولة قطر وتاريخها؛ حيث تجسد المُثل والآمال التي أقيمت عليها الدولة وإحياء لذكرى تأسيسها، وذلك من خلال كتاب «أصبحنا أقوى»، الذي سوف يتم تسليمه هديةً لحضرة صاحب السمو أمير البلاد المفدى وشعب قطر الكريم».

من جانبه، قال سعادة الشيخ عبدالرحمن بن محمد بن جبر آل ثاني، العضو المنتدب لبنك الدوحة: «تمثّل هذه الاحتفالات مناسبة للتأمل واستذكار المعالم البارزة في مسيرتنا، والنتائج التي حققتها قطر على مر السنين. ومن هذا المنبر يسرني أن أتوجه بأسمى آيات التهاني والتبريكات لقيادتنا الرشيدة ولعموم الشعب القطري والإخوة المقيمين على هذه الأرض الطيبة».

وأضاف سعادته: «ومع احتفالنا باليوم الوطني لدولة قطر، فإننا في بنك الدوحة نفتخر بقيامنا بدور محوري في دفع عجلة نمو اقتصاد البلد ليصل إلى ما هو عليه اليوم. نحن لا نزال ملتزمين بمواصلة دعم رؤية قيادتنا الرشيدة، للمضي قدماً والارتقاء بدولتنا وشعبها الكريم إلى مزيد من النجاحات والازدهار في المستقبل».;
