QIC ranked as Top Investment House from Mena region

DOHA: Qatar Insurance, the leading insurer in the Middle East and North Africa region has been recognised as the “Top Investment House” during a survey conducted by The Asset magazine in collaboration with Benchmark Research. The survey ranked top investment houses in Asian G3 bonds (issued by Asian issuers in USD, EUR and JPY) based on the number of votes won by their investors.

More than 290 different institutions including asset managers, hedge funds, private banks, banks and insurance companies/sovereign wealth funds were evaluated and shortlisted during the survey.

The ranking methodology used for the survey was based on the number of votes received from top-rated analysts, economists and strategists, sales teams and traders in these institutions. In addition, the ranking score was also subject to a weighting methodology, which was determined by the rating of the individual casting the vote for the investors.

Commenting on the latest accomplishment, Khalifa Abdulla Turki Al Subaey, Group President & CEO of QIC Group stated, “We are honored to be named as the Top Investment House from the MENA region.

أعلنت «قطر للتأمين» -الشركة الرائدة في مجال التأمين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا- عن حصولها على لقب «أفضل شركة استثمارية» في دراسة أجرتها مجلة «ذا آسيت» (Asset Magazine)، بالتعاون مع شركة بنشمارك للأبحاث Benchmark Research.

وقد اهتمت الدراسة بتسمية أهم الشركات الاستثمارية في مجال السندات التي تصدرها جهات آسيوية بالعملات الثلاث الرئيسية (الدولار الأميركي، واليورو، والين الياباني)، وقد جرى التصنيف وفقاً لعدد أصوات المستثمرين التي حصدتها بين كل من هذه الشركات.

تضمنت الدراسة تقييم أكثر من 290 مؤسسة مختلفة؛ تنوعت بين مؤسسات إدارة الأصول، وصناديق التحوط، والبنوك، والمصارف الخاصة، وشركات التأمين/ صناديق الثروة السيادية، وقائمة قصيرة خلال المسح.

الأصوات

استندت منهجية التصنيف المستخدمة في المسح إلى عدد من الأصوات التي تم تلقيها من كبار المحللين والخبراء الاقتصاديين والاستراتيجيين وفرق من اختصاصيي المبيعات والتجار في هذه المؤسسات. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كانت درجة التصنيف تخضع أيضاً لمنهجية الترجيح، التي تم تحديدها من خلال تصنيف الفرد الذي أدلى بصوته للمستثمرين. وتعليقاً على آخر الإنجازات، صرح السيد خليفة عبدالله تركي السبيعي -رئيس المجموعة والرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة قطر للتأمين- قائلاً: «يشرفنا أن يتم اختيارنا كأفضل شركة استثمارية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. يعد هذا الترتيب المرموق بمثابة شهادة على النجاح الباهر لاستراتيجيتنا في العمل، التي بنيت على نهج تدريجي يركز على العملاء، مدعوم تقنياً بقوة من قبل فريقنا للاستثمارات».
