Qatar Airways to expand Iran operations
“القطرية” تعلن عن موعد تدشين رحلاتها إلى أصفهان
Qatar Airways announced yesterday that it will expand its operations in Iran with the launch of a new twice-weekly direct service to Isfahan International Airport, starting from February 4, 2019, as well as introducing increased services to Shiraz and Tehran, from early January 2019.
Isfahan will become the airline’s fourth non-stop gateway to Iran, joining Tehran, Shiraz and Mashad, with the service operating from Doha each Monday and Friday by an Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class.
Three extra weekly flights will be introduced to the Shiraz service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, taking the route to daily operation from January 2, 2019.
The airline will also introduce two extra flights on the Tehran route, with the addition of an extra flight on Wednesdays from January 2, 2019 and Fridays from January 4, 2019, taking the route to a triple-daily operation every day except on Tuesdays, when the service runs twice-daily.

We are also delighted to announce that we are increasing our weekly services to both Shiraz and Tehran in January”.
“These latest launches are further evidence of Qatar Airways’ commitment to Iran, as well as the expansion of our network in this thriving market to provide greater connectivity to both business and leisure passengers alike,” he said.
Standing at the foothills of the Zagros mountain range, the beautiful, ancient city of Isfahan is a Unesco World Heritage Site, famed for its stunning mosques and palaces, magnificent public squares, atmospheric traditional tea houses, tranquil gardens and exquisite historic hand-painted tiling at every turn.
The newly-introduced flights to Isfahan will operate every Monday and Friday departing from Doha at 01:45, arriving at Isfahan at 04:00; with the return flight departing from Isfahan at 05:10, arriving at Doha at 06:25.
Qatar Airways has operated flights to Tehran since 2004 and, with the introduction of the two extra flights, the airline will operate a total of 20 weekly non-stop flights from Doha.
أعلنت الخطوط الجوية القطرية عن تعزيز شبكة وجهاتها في إيران مع الكشف عن موعد تدشين رحلاتها إلى مطار أصفهان الدولي، وذلك اعتبارا من الرابع من شهر فبراير لعام 2019، بالإضافة إلى زيادة عدد الرحلات إلى شيراز وطهران اعتبارا من شهر يناير من العام ذاته.
وأوضح بيان للخطوط القطرية أن الناقلة الوطنية ستسير رحلتين بدون توقف أسبوعيا إلى أصفهان التي ستصبح رابع وجهات الناقلة في إيران، حيث ستنضم إلى طهران وشيراز ومشهد.
وستشغل الخطوط الجوية القطرية طائرة من طراز إيرباص A320 – التي تضم 12 مقعدا على درجة رجال الأعمال و132 مقعدا على الدرجة السياحية – على الرحلات إلى أصفهان أيام الاثنين والجمعة من كل أسبوع.
كما ستسير الناقلة القطرية ثلاث رحلات إضافية أسبوعيا إلى مدينة شيراز في أيام الاثنين والأربعاء والسبت، ليزداد عدد الرحلات إلى هذه الوجهة إلى سبع رحلات أسبوعيا، ابتداء من الثاني من شهر يناير العام المقبل.
وذكرت الخطوط الجوية القطرية أنها ستسير رحلتين إضافيتين أسبوعيا إلى العاصمة الإيرانية طهران أيام الأربعاء والجمعة ابتداء من الثاني من شهر يناير المقبل، ليزداد عدد الرحلات لهذه المدينة إلى ثلاث رحلات يوميا في جميع أيام الأسبوع، عدا يوم الثلاثاء الذي تسير الناقلة القطرية خلاله رحلتين يوميا.
وقال السيد أكبر الباكر الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية “يسعدنا الإعلان عن موعد إطلاق رحلاتنا إلى أصفهان التي ستصبح رابع وجهاتنا في إيران، حيث تمتاز هذه المدينة بمعالمها الأثرية التي تمتد للعديد من القرون وأسواقها المميزة. وتجمع مدينة أصفهان بين ماض عريق وحاضر مشرق، ناهيك عن إرثها الثقافي، لتصبح بذلك إحدى الأماكن الخلابة والنابضة بالحياة والاستثنائية لجميع الزوار”.
وأضاف السيد الباكر “كما يسرنا الإعلان عن زيادة عدد رحلاتنا المباشرة إلى مدينة شيراز لنوفر لمسافرينا رحلات يومية اعتبارا من شهر يناير القادم، ناهيك عن إتاحة رحلتين إضافيتين أسبوعيا إلى طهران.
وأضاف “أود التأكيد على أن هذه الرحلات الجديدة ما هي إلا دليل آخر على التزام الخطوط الجوية القطرية بإتاحة المزيد من خيارات السفر لجميع المسافرين بغرض العمل أو السياحة من إيران”.
وتعد مدينة أصفهان التاريخية من مواقع التراث العالمي ليونيسكو، حيث تقع على سفح جبل زاغروس وتشتهر بمساجدها المزخرفة وقصورها المذهلة وساحاتها العامة الجميلة وبيوت الشاي التقليدية والحدائق الهادئة والبيوت ذات الألوان الزاهية.
وكذلك تسير الناقلة رحلات مباشرة إلى العاصمة الإيرانية طهران منذ عام 2004.
ومع إضافة الرحلتين الجديدتين، سيرتفع عدد الرحلات المباشرة للقطرية إلى طهران إلى 20 رحلة أسبوعيا.
ورحبت مدينة شيراز بأولى رحلات الناقلة القطرية في عام 2011.
ومع إضافة الرحلات الجديدة في أيام الاثنين والأربعاء والسبت اعتبارا من الثاني من شهر يناير لعام 2019، ستعزز القطرية من جدول رحلاتها إلى شيراز لتوفر رحلة يوميا من الدوحة.
كما تسير القطرية رحلة يوميا إلى مدينة مشهد، التي انضمت إلى شبكة وجهات الناقلة في عام 2006.
