Qatar Airways partners Grazia Style Awards

Qatar Airways is the official airline partner of the Grazia Style Awards Qatar 2018 on November 5 at St Regis Doha.

The event will see top style icons, fashion designers and brands awarded and recognised under the theme ‘Celebrating Qatar’.

Grazia, described as Qatar’s most influential women’s monthly magazine, will be recognising some of the most prominent names that have made a difference both locally and globally in the elite field of fashion in Qatar, at the awards this year.

The evening will also welcome top players in the international fashion industry to the awards ceremony, including the event’s guest of honour, renowned international fashion designer Reem Acra.

Known for her breathtaking collections ‘Ready to Wear’ and ‘Bridal’, Acra combines the traditional with modern elements and continuously revolutionises the frontiers of fashion.

“The theme ‘Celebrating Qatar’ couldn’t be more apt for the iconic Grazia Style Awards Qatar 2018, as the country continues to support, cultivate and encourage both established and emerging brands in the region,” Qatar Airways group chief executive Akbar al-Baker said.

“We are also honoured to be flying renowned fashion designer Reem Acra in style to Doha on board our latest generation aircraft equipped with our award-winning Business Class product Qsuite, giving her the best experience in the sky,” he noted.

Qsuite is currently available on select Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000 aircraft. This revolutionary product is flying to various destinations around the globe including Paris, New York, Washington, DC, Bangkok, Shanghai, and London Heathrow, to name a few.

Patented by Qatar Airways, Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class, as well as private cabins for up to four people with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room, a first of its kind in the industry. Sliding panels allow passengers in adjoining seats to transform their space into private cabins so business colleagues, families and friends can work, socialise and dine together during the flight.

This is the second consecutive year Qatar Airways has partnered with Grazia Style Awards as official airline partner.

In addition, Qatar Airways also recently sponsored the Fashion Weekend International 2018 show featuring celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra and global celebrity icon Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.

أعلنت الخطوط الجوية القطرية عن رعايتها جوائز «جرازيا ستايل قطر 2018» كشريك الطيران الرسمي. وسيقام حفل توزيع الجوائز في فندق «ذا سانت ريجيس» الدوحة في 5 نوفمبر 2018 تحت شعار «نحتفل بقطر»، وسوف يشهد حضور مجموعة من مصممي الأزياء والممثلين عن العلامات التجارية.

وتعدّ مجلة «جرازيا» إحدى أكثر المجلات التي تستهدف السيدات تأثيراً في قطر، وتحتفل هذا العام بإقامة حفل توزيع الجوائز للعام الثالث على التوالي في قطر. وتتميز المجلة بإبرازها مختلف الأمور المتعلقة بالموضة من العلامات التجارية والتصاميم إلى أفضل وجهات الموضة في العالم، وسوف تلقي الجوائز الضوء على عدد من الذين ساهموا بإحداث الفرق في قطاع الموضة العالمي على المستويين المحلي والعالمي.

وتتيح الخطوط الجوية القطرية مقاعد «كيو سويت» حالياً على طائرات مختارة من طراز «بوينغ 777» و«أيرباص A350-900» و«A350-1000». كما أطلقت الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر مقاعد «كيو سويت» إلى العديد من الوجهات الأخرى في مختلف أنحاء العالم، بما في ذلك لندن هيثرو وباريس ونيويورك وواشنطن وبانكوك وشنغهاي.
