MEC announces recall of Polaris Slingshot models
الاقتصاد تستدعي دراجات بولاريس طراز سيلنغشوت
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Protech Powered Sports Co, dealer of Polaris bikes in Qatar, has announced the recall of Polaris Slingshot models of 2015-2016 over a possible defect in the seat base.
In a statement yesterday, the ministry said the recall campaign came within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that bike dealers followed up on bike defects and repairs.
The MEC has said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

أعلنت وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة بالتعاون مع شركة بروتك لرياضة المحركات وكيل مركبات بولاريس عن استدعاء دراجات بولاريس طراز سيلنغشوت موديل 2015 – 2016 وذلك لاحتمالية وجود خلل في وحدة تثبيت المقاعد . ويأتي هذا الإجراء في إطار التنسيق والمتابعة المستمرة من وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة للتأكد من مدى التزام وتقيد الوكلاء بمتابعة عيوب السلعة وتصحيحها لحماية حقوق المستهلكين .
وأكدت الوزارة أنه سيتم التنسيق مع وكيل الشركة لمتابعة عمليات الصيانة والتصليح والتواصل مع العملاء للتأكد من تنفيذ الإجراءات وتصحيح الخلل والعيوب في السلعة التي تشملها العيوب .
وتحث وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة جميع المستهلكين بالإبلاغ عن أي تجاوزات أو مخالفات بالتواصل مع إدارة حماية المستهلك ومكافحة الغش التجاري.
