Doha: An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the ministry and the Qatari missions accredited abroad are not responsible for providing and offering scholarships, and they do not fall within the scope of their competencies.
The source warned citizens and residents against dealing with parties that used to plagiarize and deceive Internet users, and deceive them of providing opportunities to study abroad by providing them with an email (@embassies.mofa.gov.qa), which is not related to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Qatari missions accredited abroad.

الدوحة: أكد مصدر مسؤول بوزارة الخارجية، أن الوزارة والبعثات القطرية المعتمدة في الخارج، غير مسؤولة عن توفير وعرض المنح الدراسية، ولا تقع ضمن نطاق اختصاصاتها.
وحذر المصدر المواطنين والمقيمين من التعامل مع جهات اعتادت الانتحال والتحايل على مستخدمي شبكة الإنترنت، وإيهامهم بتوفير فرص للدراسة بالخارج من خلال تزويدهم ببريد إلكتروني (@embassies.mofa.gov.qa) لا يمت بصلة لوزارة الخارجية أو البعثات القطرية المعتمدة بالخارج.
