Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club announces shopping bonanza

Privilege Club, Qatar Airways’ award-winning frequent flyer programme, has provided its members an exclusive offer with its latest summer shopping collection.

Until September 10, Privilege Club members can take advantage of a 50% discount when using their Qmiles on select products at Qatar Duty Free, both at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and at Oryx Galleria in Doha.

“Our special new summer shopping collection offers our members an extensive variety of choices at an incredible range of luxurious retail outlets, where passengers can treat themselves or their loved ones to a moment of luxury in a world-class duty free shopping environment,” Qatar Airways chief commercial officer Ehab Amin said. “As a multiple award-winning airline and leader in the aviation industry, we continue to strive to reward our loyal and dedicated members with exclusive benefits to further elevate their experience with Qatar Airways and make it a memorable one,” he added. Privilege Club launched its Qmiles reward programme in 2007 to offer its loyal passengers the opportunity to earn Qmiles when travelling on Qatar Airways, OneWorld airlines, or any of the airlines’ partners. Qmiles has since served as another convenient means of payment at the award-winning QDF outlets, located in both the departure and arrival halls of HIA and at Oryx Galleria in Doha. In March 2018, Privilege Club launched a refreshed brand identity, offering members a range of programme enhancements.

Privilege Club members can now do all their account activities online, including purchasing award tickets using Qmiles, nominating family members to join their membership account, updating personal profiles and requesting services including cabin upgrades, excess baggage, date changes, refunds, and much more. Qatar Airways Privilege Club was named ‘Best Rewards Programme’ among airlines in the region at the seventh annual FlyerTalk awards 2018 for the second year in a row.

At the sixth annual FlyerTalk awards 2017, Privilege Club also won the “Outstanding Benefit” award.

A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was named ‘World’s Best Business Class’ by the 2018 World Airline Awards, managed by international air transport rating organisation Skytrax. It was also named ‘Best Business Class Seat,’ ‘Best Airline in the Middle East,’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge.’ Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its hub, HIA, to more than 150 destinations worldwide.

Earlier this year, Qatar Airways revealed a host of forthcoming global destinations in line with its expedited expansion plan, including Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Langkawi, Malaysia and Da Nang, Vietnam.

أعلن نادي الامتياز -برنامج المسافر الدائم لدى الخطوط الجوية القطرية- عن عرض خاص وحصري هذا الصيف لجميع أعضائه، تحت عنوان «باقات التسوّق خلال فصل الصيف».

وسوف يتمكن أعضاء نادي الامتياز من الاستفادة من خصم بقيمة 50 %، عند الدفع باستخدام «الكيومايلز» لشراء منتجات مختارة في السوق الحرة القطرية ومطار حمد الدولي وأوريكس غاليريا، وذلك خلال الفترة من 10 أغسطس حتى 10 سبتمبر 2018.

وقال السيد إيهاب أمين، رئيس العمليات التجارية في الخطوط الجوية القطرية: «يسعدنا الإعلان عن أحدث عروضنا هذا الصيف لأعضاء نادي الامتياز قبل حلول عطلة عيد الأضحى. ويتيح العرض الجديد تحت عنوان باقات التسوّق خلال فصل الصيف الفرصة أمام أعضاء نادي الامتياز لشراء مجموعة من المنتجات المميزة والهدايا الراقية لأحبائهم في عدد من المتاجر الشهيرة، ليعزز هذا العرض من توقعات المسافرين لدى زيارتهم السوق الحرة».

وأطلق نادي الامتياز -التابع للخطوط الجوية القطرية- برنامج المكافآت «كيومايلز» في عام 2007، لتمنح مسافريها الأوفياء الفرصة للحصول على «كيومايلز» عند سفرهم على متن رحلات الخطوط الجوية القطرية وشركات الطيران الأعضاء في تحالف «oneworld» وجميع الشركات التي ترتبط الخطوط الجوية القطرية بها باتفاقيات تعاون تجاري أو رمز مشترك. ويمكن استخدام «الكيومايلز» وسيلة دفع مريحة في السوق الحرة القطرية التي تقع في قاعة المغادرين أو القادمين في مطار حمد الدولي، أو في «أوريكس جاليريا» في مدينة الدوحة.

حلة

وكشفت «القطرية» عن حُلّة جديدة لنادي الامتياز في شهر مارس لعام 2018؛ حيث تشتمل الحلّة الجديدة على العديد من التحسينات والمزايا الجديدة للبرنامج. وأصبح بإمكان أعضاء نادي الامتياز الآن القيام بالعديد من الأنشطة على حسابهم مباشرة عبر الإنترنت، مثل شراء تذاكر المكافأة باستخدام «الكيومايلز»، وترشيح أفراد العائلة للانضمام إلى حساب العضوية، وتحديث الملف الشخصي، وطلب مجموعة من الخدمات مثل ترقية درجة السفر، وزيادة الوزن المسموح به وتغيير مواعيد الرحلات والاسترداد وغيرها الكثير.

وحاز برنامج المسافر الدائم لدى الخطوط الجوية القطرية -نادي الامتياز- على جائزة «أفضل برنامج مكافآت» في المنطقة، خلال الحفل السنوي السابع لجوائز «فلاير توك» 2018 للعام الثاني على التوالي. وكان البرنامج قد فاز أيضاً بجائزة «مزايا استثنائية» خلال الحفل السنوي السادس لجوائز «فلاير توك» 2017.

وحازت «القطرية» مؤخراً على جائزة أفضل درجة رجال أعمال في العالم ضمن جوائز «سكاي تراكس» العالمية 2018. كما حصدت الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر جائزة أفضل مقعد على درجة رجال الأعمال في العالم، وجائزة أفضل شركة طيران في الشرق الأوسط، وجائزة أفضل صالة انتظار لمسافري الدرجة الأولى في العالم.;
