‘Hope enlightens life’ art expo opens at Katara
معرض «بالأمل تحلو الحياة» في «كتارا»

An exhibition entitled ‘Hope enlightens life’ by the disabled young artist Dania Tareq was staged yesterday at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) amphitheatre.
The exhibition was opened in the presence of a number of ambassadors accredited to Qatar and mediapersons.
The exhibition, the second by this artist, aims to support her talent and empower others with disabilities to enter and compete in this field in keeping with Katara’s vision to contribute in empowering all sectors to show their abilities.
Katara General Manager, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, said that Katara opens doors for all talents, and this exhibition reflects Katara’s vision of supporting artists of all categories.
Dania (25) who overcame her birth challenges displayed around 43 artworks at the exhibition that showcased the beauty of nature and many colourful flowers that focus on the main aspect “Hope” which she learned through practising and assistance by her trainers.
افتتح سعادة الدكتور خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي، مدير عام المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي كتارا، أمس معرض «بالأمل تحلو الحياة» للفنانة دانيا طارق، وذلك بحضور عدد من أصحاب السعادة السفراء والمهتمين والإعلاميين.
وبهذه المناسبة، أكد خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي أن معرض دانيا طارق هو تحدٍ من نوع آخر لإطلاق العنان للقدرات دون خوف من خوض التجربة، مبينًا أن هذا المعرض هو الثاني للفنانة الذي تستضيفه «كتارا» بعد معرض «انطلاقة نحو التميز»، تشجيعاً لها على مواصلة الإبداع والتألق والعطاء الفني.
وقالت الدكتورة هالة السعيد، معالجة نفسية، ومديرة مركز لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، ووالدة الفنانة دانيا طارق، إن التوازن النفسي الذي تشعر به دانيا بدا واضحًا من خلال معرضها «بالأمل تحلو الحياة»، الذي عبرت فيه عن حبها للحياة، من خلال رسوماتها للطبيعة والزهور والربيع.
