Transfer of vehicle ownership through Metrash2

The General Directorate of Traffic Department has announced that ownership transfer transactions for vehicles sold through showrooms will be transferred to an electronic system with effect from September 1.

The service will be available through Metrash2 accordingly, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted yesterday.

Through a notice published in local newspapers, the General Directorate of Traffic has announced the elimination of paper transactions for the “ownership transfer of mechanical vehicles sold through car showrooms” from September. The notice is also available on the MoI’s Twitter page.
