Amir opens new buildings in Amiri Guard Camp
صاحب السمو يفتتح المباني الجديدة بمعسكر الحرس الأميري
Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday patronised the opening of the new buildings in the Amiri Guard camp in Lehsaynia area.
Major Abdullah Jarallah Al Marri, the acting commander of the Amiri Guard School, gave a speech on the occasion, in which he reviewed the historical stages that the Amiri Guard has been through, which started in 1953 with the formation of the Ruler’s Guard Force, then H H the Amir’s Guard Battalion and H H the Heir Apparent’s Guard Battalion before the developments and achievements continued until the guard became a separate entity under the name of Amiri Guard in 2007.
Major Al Marri said that the opening of the training edifice will help in enhancing the performance of Amiri Guard in carrying out its duties in terms of providing security and training expertise that is needed to continue to coordinate with the different security apparatuses.
The opening featured a screening of a film about the military village and its buildings and various military facilities, in addition to military parades of fighting and defence skills.
The Amir listened to a detailed explanation by a number of senior Amiri Guard officials on the modern facilities and equipment in the new building that go in line with the comprehensive renaissance in the country.
After that, the Amir had a field tour in buildings and visited the live shooting ranges.
A number of senior military officials attended the opening along with commanders of the armed forces and the Ministry of Interior, officers and noncommissioned officers.
تفضل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، صباح اليوم، فشمل برعايته الكريمة افتتاح المباني الجديدة بمعسكر الحرس الأميري في منطقة “لحسنيه”.
وألقى الرائد عبدالله جارالله المري قائد مدرسة الحرس الأميري بالوكالة كلمة بهذه المناسبة استعرض فيها المراحل التاريخية التي مر بها الحرس الأميري، الذي كانت بدايته في عام 1953 بتشكيل قوة حرس الحاكم مروراً بتشكيل “كتيبة حرس سمو الأمير المفدى” و”كتيبة حرس سمو ولي العهد” وتوالت التطورات والإنجازات ليستقل الحرس تحت مسمى (الحرس الأميري) عام 2007.
وأوضح أن افتتاح هذا الصرح التدريبي الشامخ سيسهم في تعزيز أداء الحرس الأميري في القيام بمهامه من تقديم الخبرات الأمنية والتدريبية اللازمة لمواصلة التنسيق مع كافة الأجهزة الأمنية المختلفة.
وخلال الافتتاح تم عرض فيلم عن القرية العسكرية وما تحويه من مبان ومرافق عسكرية متنوعة، إضافة إلى عروض عسكرية للمهارات القتالية والدفاعية.
واستمع سمو الأمير المفدى إلى شرح مفصل من عدد من كبار المسؤولين بالحرس الأميري حول ما يحتويه المبنى الجديد من مرافق وتجهيزات حديثة تواكب النهضة الشاملة التي تشهدها البلاد.
وعقب ذلك قام سمو الأمير المفدى بجولة ميدانية في المباني، تفقد خلالها ميادين الرماية الحية.
حضر الافتتاح عدد من كبار المسؤولين العسكريين وقادة القوات المسلحة ووزارة الداخلية والضباط وضباط الصف.
