“الخليج للمخازن” تفوز بجائزة تقديرية لمساهمتها في تحقيق 10 ملايين ساعة عمل دون حوادث
DOHA: GWC, the leading logistics provider in the State of Qatar, has been honoured and recognised for its contributions towards 10 million incident-free work hours at QAFAC’s Messaieed Industrial City.
In honour of this momentous milestone achievement in HSSE Management, QAFAC held an award ceremony to recognise the top 12 contributing contractors to this milestone, with over 500 attendees present. Senior Director of Commercial Services Naji Nassar received the award on behalf of GWC from QAFAC CEO Khaled Sultan Al Kuwari.
In addition, the assembled contractors showcased their various safety response procedures through a number of demonstrations and presentations.
At the GWC stall, visitors were demonstrated with emergency responses to chemical spills inside a warehouse and how to ideally handle that. The audience also learned about the trainings GWC provide to all its employees on its systems and organisational requirements, developing the core competencies of its staff.
The company also displayed its safety preventative maintenance procedures aimed at ensuring the safety, health and security of its staff, in addition to minimising the company’s impact on the environment. “Our QHSE Management System provides the framework for all our service offerings and operations conducted in or by the company,” stated GWC Senior Director of Commercial Services Naji Nassar.
“It is our pleasure to utilise and share these skills to ensure that all GWC operations at QAFAC run reliably and smoothly in the safest and most secure of working environments”.
The award ceremony came after a year of renewed support for the oil and gas industry by GWC, who increased their 3PL or 4PL operations with several major industry clients, in addition to creating an oil and gas logistics supply base over 125,000 sqm in record time at the request of a newly acquired client.
فازت شركة الخليج للمخازن (GWC) بجائزة تقديرية لمساهمتها في تحقيق نحو 10 ملايين ساعة عمل بدون حادث في موقع شركة قطر للإضافات البترولية المحدودة “كافاك” بمدينة مسيعيد الصناعية، وذلك خلال احتفال أقامته “كافاك” مؤخرا للاحتفاء بـ12 شركة من المتعاقدين الأكثر مساهمة في هذا الإنجاز المتعلق بإدارة الصحة والسلامة.
وقامت الشركات المتعاقدة خلال الحفل الذي شهد حضور أكثر من 500 شخص، باستعراض وتوعية الحضور عن إجراءات الاستجابة للطوارئ الخاصة بها، فيما قامت “الخليج للمخازن من جانبها، وعبر منصتها بتعريف الحضور بسبل الاستجابة في حال حدوث انسكاب أو تسرب للمواد الكيماوية داخل المخازن والطرق المثلى للسيطرة عليها، كما قدمت الشركة معلومات عن إجراءات الصيانة الاستباقية التي تهدف لضمان صحة وسلامة وأمن الموظفين، بالإضافة إلى تخفيف أثر إجراء العمليات على البيئة.
وأكد السيد ناجي نصار الرئيس الأول للخدمات التجارية في شركة الخليج للمخازن، والذي تسلم الجائزة عن الشركة، أن نظام إدارة الجودة والصحة والسلامة والبيئة في الخليج للمخازن يشكل أساسا لكافة الخدمات المقدمة والعمليات المدارة سواء في مواقعها أو في مواقع العملاء.
