Full-scale emergency exercise at Doha International Airport

Doha: Matar, the Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management, will be conducting the fourth full-scale emergency exercise at Doha International Airport on 03 December 2020, as part of its commitment to ensure a high level of preparedness in safety and security matters.
The exercise will be conducted in coordination with partners and stakeholders including Qatar Airways Group, Amiri Flight, Qatar Executive, Qatar Aircraft Catering Company, Qatar Aviation Services, Airport Customs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Defence, Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service, Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, Qatar Red Crescent Society and other national agencies.
The exercise will involve an aircraft ground emergency and will test how effectively airport partners, stakeholders, and government agencies respond to the emergency scenario.
The simulation, which will commence at approximately 10am and end at 12 midnight, is not likely to interrupt normal airport operations.

الدوحة: تجري اليوم الشركة القطرية لإدارة وتشغيل المطارات (مطار) التمرين الخامس الشامل للطوارئ، في مطار الدوحة الدولي، لضمان مستوى عالٍ من الجاهزية والاستعداد التام للتعامل مع حوادث الأمن والسلامة.
وسيتم إجراء التمرين بالتعاون مع الشركاء والجهات العاملة في المطار بما في ذلك مجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية، والطيران الأميري، والشركة القطرية لإدارة وتشغيل المطارات “مطار”، والقطرية لتموين الطائرات، والقطرية لخدمات الطيران، وجمارك المطار، وكل من وزارة الداخلية، ووزارة الصحة العامة، ووزارة المواصلات والاتصالات، ووزارة الدفاع، بالإضافة الى خدمة الإسعاف بمؤسسة حمد الطبية والهيئة العامة للطيران المدني، وجمعية الهلال الأحمر القطري، وعدد من الجهات الحكومية الأخرى.
ومن المقرر أن يختبر سيناريو تمرين الطوارئ لهذا العام مدى قدرة المطار وشركائه والجهات العاملة فيه والجهات الحكومية على التعامل مع حالة الطوارئ الخاصة بحادث أرضي لطائرة. ومن المتوقع ألا يؤثر التمرين الذي سيبدأ عند حوالي الساعة العاشرة والنصف صباحاً وينتهي عند الساعة الثانية عشرة ظهراً، على عمليات المطار الاعتيادية.
