Ministry urges students to benefit from digital lessons

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education urged students to benefit from the digital lessons offered by the electronic department, to support and enrich the sources of learning.

The digital lessons cover all subjects between the third grade and 12th grade.

The Ministry gave out awareness flyers to students to explain the steps needed to access the lessons through Youtube, then to the channel of the needed grade and finally to the playlist of the subject required. The Youtube channel is continuously updated with new lessons.

This aims to provide all students with a series of digital educational tutorials linked to Qatar’s curriculum standards from the 3rd to the 12th grade, to raise the level of academic achievement and ensure that they meet the subject goals.

It also comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide learning sources that are diverse and attractive to students and to enable self-learning.

The digital lessons have been launched three years ago and currently has nearly 3 million views and more than 22,000 subscribers.

في إطار دعم الطلاب وتنويع وإثراء مصادر التعلم، قام قسم التعليم الإلكتروني لوزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي بتوفير المزيد من الدروس المصورة، التي تتناول المواد الدراسية لجميع المراحل الدراسية من الصف الثالث الابتدائي إلى الصف الثاني عشر.

ودعت الوزارة الطلاب إلى الاستفادة من الدروس المصورة؛ حيث تم توزيع مطبوعات توعوية على أبنائنا الطلاب بالمدارس لتوضيح خطوات الدخول للدروس المصورة، إذ يمكن الدخول على موقع «يوتيوب»، ثم البحث عن الدروس المصورة، ثم الدخول إلى قناة الدروس المصورة واختيار قوائم التشغيل الخاصة بالصف الدراسي، ومن ثَم المادة والدرس الذي يبحث عنه الطالب؛ حيث يركز كل درس على موضوع معين أو مهارة معينة يكتسبها الطالب من خلال الدرس، مثل المفعول لأجله وتركيب الكروموسوم، وخصائص المواد، وغيرها. ويتراوح زمن الدرس بين 5 – 10 دقائق كحد أقصى. علماً بأن القناة يتم تحديثها بشكل مستمر، ورفدها بالدروس الجديدة.;
