Qatar Tourism Celebrates Success of ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ Campaign

Doha: Qatar Tourism (QT) successfully concluded the events of ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ campaign, which included a variety of activities that were held throughout the country during the first three months of 2023, with thousands of visitors flocking to festivities.
The statement issued by Qatar Tourism on Tuesday affirmed that, in collaboration with Qatar Airways, QT organized a thrilling and diverse array of events back-to-back throughout the country’s cool season as a part of its highly successful ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ campaign. From stunning performances to culinary adventures, the packed schedule offered unforgettable experiences for residents and visitors of all ages, the statement added.
Commenting on the success of the campaign, Director of Shared Services at QT Omar Al Jaber said “Feel Winter in Qatar was a targeted campaign that helped us make the best of Qatar’s winter sun,” adding “we brought global firsts, with the likes of the PAW Patrol Festival, and re-ignited some of Qatar’s most loved celebrations such as the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition.” “The breadth of experiences speak to Qatar’s multi-faceted tourism offering, and we are delighted to have welcomed residents and regional visitors during this uplifted time,” Al Jaber noted.
The events of ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ campaign included the third edition of the Qatar Balloon Festival, Qatar Live Festival – which organized a Disney Princesses concert, in addition to the 19th edition of Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), and the 12th edition of Qatar International Food Festival.

الدوحة: اختتمت قطر للسياحة بنجاح فعاليات “الشتاء في قطر” التي تضمنت باقة متنوعة من الأنشطة التي أقيمت في جميع أنحاء البلاد خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الأولى من العام الجاري وشهدت توافد آلاف الزوار.
وأكد البيان الصادر من قطر للسياحة أنها نظمت، بالتعاون مع الخطوط الجوية القطرية فعاليات “الشتاء في قطر” والتي تضمنت مجموعة متنوعة من الأنشطة المميزة طيلة فترة موسم الشتاء في قطر، بدءاً من العروض المذهلة إلى مغامرات الطهي، والتي قدمت للمقيمين والزوار على اختلاف أعمارهم جدولاً حافلاً بالتجارب التي لا تنسى.
وقال السيد عمر الجابر، مدير إدارة الخدمات المشتركة في قطر للسياحة، إن فعاليات الشتاء في قطر كانت هادفة وساعدتنا على تحقيق أقصى استفادة من الطقس الشتوي المشمس، مضيفاً، “قدمنا مجموعة غنية من الفعاليات منها مهرجان دورية المخلب وهو الأول من نوعه في تاريخ سلسلة دورية المخلب الشهيرة في عالم الرسوم المتحركة، كما أعدنا تنظيم بعض المهرجانات الأكثر ترقباً في قطر ومن أهمها معرض الدوحة للمجوهرات والساعات، وقد حصل الزوار على تجارب رائعة”.
وتضمنت فعاليات “الشتاء في قطر”، النسخة الثالثة من مهرجان قطر للمناطيد، ومهرجان قطر لايف الذي شهد تنظيم حفل أميرات ديزني، إضافة إلى تنظيم النسخة التاسعة عشرة من معرض الدوحة للمجوهرات والساعات، فضلاً عن النسخة الثانية عشرة من مهرجان قطر الدولي للأغذية، كما شهدت الفعاليات عودة مهرجان قطر للتسوق، والذي شملت فعالياته أيضاً مهرجان دورية المخلب الفريد من نوعه في ساحة بلاس فاندوم.
