Amir meets FIFA Vice-President

Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at Amiri Diwan yesterday with President of the South American Football Confederation and Vice-President of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), Alejandro Dominguez, and the accompanying delegation, who called on the Amir to greet him on the occasion of their visit to the country. They reviewed the existing cooperation between Qatar and the South American Football Confederation and means of developing them, as well as the Qatar’s preparations for the 2022 World Cup and the progress made in the related projects.

استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، في مكتبه بالديوان الأميري صباح أمس، السيد اليخاندرو دومينغيز رئيس اتحاد أميركا الجنوبية لكرة القدم، ونائب رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) والوفد المرافق، وذلك للسلام على سموه بمناسبة زيارته للبلاد.

جرى خلال المقابلة استعراض علاقات التعاون القائمة بين دولة قطر واتحاد أميركا الجنوبية لكرة القدم وسبل تطويرها، بالإضافة إلى تناول استعدادات دولة قطر لبطولة كأس العالم 2022، والتقدم المنجز في المشاريع ذات الصلة.;
