MOI: QVC in Dhaka receives the domestic workers category

Doha: The Ministry of Interior tweeted on the social networking site Twitter that it is currently possible to receive the category of domestic workers and those of similar status for Bangladeshi nationality at the Qatar Visa Center in Dhaka, in order to complete the procedures for entry visas for residence for the purpose of work.

The Department of Recruitment Support Services at MOI announced the transfer of the mechanism for receiving entry visas applications for residence in the purpose of work for the Bangladeshi nationality for domestic workers and the like, through the Qatar Visa Center in the Republic of Bangladesh.

The administration stated that this comes within the framework of its endeavor to take the necessary measures to start work to receive the category of domestic workers and those of similar status through Qatar visa centers abroad.

Qatar visa centers abroad are working to end the procedures for the recruitment of expatriate workers outside the State of Qatar through accredited centers aimed at facilitating recruitment procedures, preserving and protecting the rights of expatriates, documenting work contracts, avoiding cases of returning to their country in case of disqualification, ensuring the application of the best practices, and direct work as soon as the expatriate arrives in the country, and provide integrated and effective electronic services.

Work according to an electronic system

These centers operate according to an integrated electronic system to implement medical examinations procedures, fingerprinting and biometrics, and sign work contracts for expatriates outside the country, and under the supervision and follow-up of the concerned authorities within the State of Qatar.

The Qatar Visa Centers are designed to complete all procedures for applicants in their countries, which include signing work contracts and conducting medical examinations for the applicants, where the recruiter issues a work visa to the applicants and apply it on Metrash 2 and in the second stage they pay the recruitment fees and then transfer it to the expatriate, who in turn books an appointment to go to the visa center according to the specified date to end the procedures, where the work contract is presented to him to verify the data and terms of the contract and have a look at it and complete the rest of the procedures, including the decimal footprint, medical examinations and vital data after his approval.

Visas include tourism

types of visas that are issued are the recruitment and recruitment visas for work in government or semi-government establishments, as well as work and family visits, as well as tourism features, conference and event features, official government features, as well as diplomatic, domestic servants and personal features.

The expatriate performs all the procedures that he used to perform inside his country, where the worker reads the contract and expresses his opinion on it and signs it freely to prevent any exploitation in this regard, and the worker also finishes the procedures of the decimal fingerprint and medical examinations in his country.

Moreover, the worker’s condition may not comply with the standards required for recruitment, either because of lack of medical fitness or because of security restrictions preventing him from entering the country.

وكانت إدارة الخدمات المساندة للاستقدام بوزارة الداخلية، أعلنت تحويل آلية استقبال طلبات سمات الدخول للإقامة بغرض العمل للجنسية البنغلاديشية للمستخدمين بالمنازل ومن في حكمهم، عبر مركز تأشيرات قطر بجمهورية بنجلاديش.

وذكرت الإدارة أن ذلك يأتي في إطار سعيها لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لبدء العمل باستقبال فئة المستخدمين بالمنازل ومن في حكمهم عبر مراكز تأشيرات قطر بالخارج.

وتعمل مراكز تأشيرات قطر بالخارج على إنهاء إجراءات استقدام العمالة الوافدة خارج دولة قطر عبر مراكز معتمدة، تهدف إلى تسهيل إجراءات الاستقدام، وحفظ وحماية حقوق الوافدين، وتوثيق عقود العمل، وتجنب حالات رجوع الوافد إلى بلده في حالة عدم الأهلية، وضمان تطبيق أفضل الممارسات، ومباشرة العمل فور وصول الوافد إلى الدولة، وتقديم خدمات إلكترونية متكاملة وفعَّالة.

العمل وفق نظام إلكتروني

وتعمل تلك المراكز وفق نظام إلكتروني متكامل لتنفيذ إجراءات الفحوص الطبية والتقاط البصمات والبيانات الحيوية وتوقيع عقود العمل للوافدين خارج الدولة، وتحت إشراف ومتابعة الجهات المعنية داخل دولة قطر.

وصممت مراكز تأشيرات قطر لإنهاء كافة إجراءات المستقدمين في بلدانهم والتي تشمل توقيع عقود العمل وإجراء الفحوص الطبية للمستقدم. حيث يقوم المستقدم بإصدار سمة العمل للمستقدم وإدراجها على مطراش2 وفي المرحلة الثانية يقوم بدفع رسوم الاستقدام ومن ثم تحويلها إلى الوافد الذي يقوم بدوره بحجز موعد للذهاب لمركز التأشيرات وفقًا للموعد المحدد لإنهاء الإجراءات، حيث يتم عرض عقد العمل عليه للتأكد من البيانات وبنود العقد ويطلع عليه وبعد موافقته يقوم بإنهاء باقي الإجراءات ومن بينها البصمة العشرية والفحوص الطبية والبيانات الحيوية.

التأشيرات تشمل السياحة

وتتمثل أنواع التأشيرات التي يتم إصدارها هي تأشيرات الاستقدام للعمل والاستقدام للعمل في المنشآت الحكومية أو شبه الحكومية وكذلك زيارات العمل والزيارات العائلية، وكذلك السمات السياحية وسمات المؤتمرات والفعاليات، وسمات الحكومة الرسمية وكذلك السمات الدبلوماسية وخدم المنازل والسمات الشخصية.

ويقوم الوافد بجميع الإجراءات التي كان يقوم بإجرائها داخل الدولة في بلده، حيث يقوم العامل بقراءة العقد وإبداء رأيه فيه والتوقيع عليه بحرية منعًا لأي استغلال في هذا الشأن، كما يقوم العامل كذلك بإنهاء إجراءات البصمة العشرية والفحوص الطبية في بلده.

وقللت إجراءات الاستقدام في بلد المنشأ أو العامل من التكلفة المادية والجهد لأن العامل قد لا يوافق على العقد من الأساس، وبالتالي فإنه يمكنه أن يقبل العقد أو يرفضه وهو في بلده دون أن يتكبد عناء السفر فضلًا عن التكاليف المالية التي يتحملها العامل أو المستقدم، ونوه بأنه علاوة على ذلك فإن حالة العامل قد لا تتوافق مع المعايير المطلوبة للاستقدام، إما بسبب عدم اللياقة الطبية أو بسبب وجود قيود أمنية تمنع دخوله البلاد.
