Ministry: All students will begin studying through “online education system” next Sunday

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that all public school students will begin their online studies starting next Sunday through the “distance learning” system.
The ministry said that students from the first to the third grade will use the MS Teams programme, while students from the fourth to the 12th grades will use the Learning Management System LMS, pointing out that these systems provide the advantage of interaction and communication with the teacher to both the student and the parent through ‘Chatting’.
The ministry noted that it has prepared educational content for these levels by producing daily lessons that will be approximately 10 minutes each, focusing on providing the student with the concepts and values of these lessons, which will be available on electronic links via the digital platforms provided by the ministry.
The ministry added that these lessons were produced by specialised teachers who were carefully selected from schools who had previously received training in producing these lessons, noting that these teachers will explain the steps accompanying each lesson in a simple and sequential manner, to enable students to understand the lessons and answer the applications attached to them.
To ensure the continuity of the educational process and the achievement of the partnership between parents and the school, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education clarified that educational plans and the weekly schedule of classes will be published, and includes four illustrated study materials and daily and weekly assessments that the student will answer on a daily basis to ensure assimilation, on the ministry’s website and the LMS system.
The ministry confirmed that it had taken into account these exceptional emergency circumstances, giving the student the privilege of accessing lessons and re-viewing them at any time, which gives the parent the opportunity to support the education of his children by distributing time between them to enter the platforms according to their class levels.
The main source of learning (textbooks) will be provided in PDF format, as well as more supportive videos, as well as a set of sample answers for parents.
With regard to distance learning for people with disabilities, the ministry said that work has been made to provide educational materials that meet the needs of students with disabilities, according to the level and type of disability, as lessons will be uploaded on the Learning Management System LMS for students of the first and second level.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education confirmed that it will provide technical support to implement distance learning for schools and parents in the event of obstacles or challenges to the system, which will be available on the hotline 155.

أعلنت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي أن جميع طلبة المدارس الحكومية سيباشرون دراستهم اعتبارا من يو الأحد القادم من خلال نظام “التعلم عن بعد”.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن الطلاب من الصف الأول إلى الثالث سيستخدمون برنامج “MS Teams”، في حين يستخدم طلاب الصفوف من الرابع إلى الثاني عشر نظام إدارة التعلم /LMS/، لافتة إلى أن هذه الأنظمة توفر خاصية التفاعل والتواصل مع المعلم لكل من الطالب وولي الأمر عن طريق المحادثات (Chatting).
ونوهت الوزارة بأنها قامت بإعداد المحتوى التعليمي لهذه المستويات بتصوير وإنتاج فيديوهات الدروس اليومية التي ستكون مدة كل منها حوالي 10 دقائق، يتم التركيز فيها على إكساب الطالب مفاهيم وقيم هذه الدروس، التي ستتوفر على روابط إلكترونية عبر المنصات الرقمية التي وفرتها الوزارة.
وقالت إنه تم إنتاج هذه الدروس عن طريق معلمين مختصين تم اختيارهم من المدارس بعناية ممن تلقوا تدريبا مسبقا في إنتاج الدروس المصورة، مشيرة إلى أن هؤلاء المعلمين سيقومون بتوضيح الخطوات المصاحبة لكل درس بشكل بسيط ومتسلسل، لتمكين الطلبة من استيعاب الدروس والإجابة عن التطبيقات المرفقة بها.
وللتأكد من استمرار العملية التعليمية بسلاسة ولضمان تحقيق الشراكة بين ولي الأمر والمدرسة، أوضحت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي أنه سيتم نشر الخطط التعليمية والجدول الأسبوعي للحصص، ويشمل يوميا 4 مواد دراسية مصورة وتقييمات يومية وأسبوعية يقوم الطالب بالإجابة عنها للتأكد من الاستيعاب على موقع الوزارة، ونظام /LMS/ كما سيتم إرسال جداول الحصص في رسائل نصية لأولياء الأمور لمتابعة أبنائهم.
وأكدت الوزارة أنها قد راعت هذه الظروف الاستثنائية الطارئة، فأعطت للطالب ميزة الاطلاع على الدروس وإعادة مشاهدتها في أي وقت، مما يهيئ لولي الأمر الفرصة كي يدعم تعليم أبنائه بتوزيع الوقت بينهم للدخول للمنصات حسب مستوياتهم الصفية.
كما سيتم توفير المصدر الرئيس للتعلم (الكتب المدرسية) بصيغة PDF، بالإضافة إلى المزيد من الفيديوهات الداعمة، وكذلك توفير مجموعة من نماذج الإجابات لأولياء الأمور.
وفيما يخص التعلم عن بعد لذوي الإعاقة، قالت الوزارة إنه تم العمل على توفير المواد التعليمية التي تلبي احتياجات الطلبة من ذوي الإعاقة بحسب مستوى الإعاقة ونوعها، حيث سيتم رفع الدروس على نظام إدارة التعلم “LMS” لطلبة المستوى الأول والثاني من الدعم.
أما الأبناء من الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة السمعية، فقد تم إعداد دروس جميع المواد لهم بلغة الإشارة، بالإضافة لمراعاة الوزارة للطلبة من ذوي الإعاقة البصرية عند تسجيل دروسهم بالتأكد من وضوح الصوت وجودته.
أما طلبة المستوى الثالث من الدعم، فستكون الدروس بشكل تفاعلي على نظام “Microsoft Teams” بحسب الخطط الفردية للطلاب متضمنة الأنشطة والفيديوهات التعليمية والإرشادات اللازمة لأولياء الأمور.
وفيما يخص المدارس التخصصية، ذكرت الوزارة أنه تم توجيه المدارس لاختيار أفضل معلمي المواد التخصصية في كل مدرسة وتكليفهم بتقديم دروس مصورة للمواد النظرية والورش العملية ورفعها على نظام إدارة التعلم في موقع المدرسة، وإرسال رسائل نصية لأولياء الأمور تشعرهم ببدء بث الدروس.
وأكدت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي أنها ستعمل على توفير الدعم الفني لتنفيذ التعلم عن بعد للمدارس وأولياء الأمور في حال حدوث معوقات أو تحديات في النظام، والذي سيتوفر على الخط الساخن 155.
